Atlona Wall Plate for 4 Speakers

I put in a wall plate similar to this for my front and surround speakers when I purchased my house a few years ago. It not only makes the wall look neater without loose wires sticking out of the wall, but it also makes it easier to disconnect/reconnect the speakers if you need to adjust your entertainment equipment for any reason.I purchased this wall plate for setting up the surround sound at my aunt and uncle's new house. For personal preference, I grouped each pair (top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right) into the red and black terminals rather than leaving one side all red and the other side all black. My older wall plate came configured like that and was made as to not allow completely unscrewing the post. This wall plate does allow you to remove top of the post and rearrange the color configuration as you see fit.The only thing I did not like about this wall plate is the thickness. It doesn't sit flush against the wall, so it doesn't match other wall plates that you will probably have nearby your speaker wiring. Other than finding a way to hide the mounting screws, I don't understand the concept of making this so thick with a snap-on cover.
