Works great!
Well made, powerful magnet and really nifty as the temperatures corelate to the maximum desired temperatures needed for the proper heat range and to avoid over or under firing to minimize or avoid a creasote problem.

Perfect little tool
I was new to the woodstove world when we had ours installed this winter. A bit of research told me to get a thermometer to monitor the temps. This has been perfect. A magnet makes install a breeze. The colorful graphics and contrasting pin make it so that I can see where it is through a camera I use to monitor it since the stove is on my basement. Well worth the inexpensive cost.

Takes the guessing temperature out of the worry.
Works great. I can now tell when I need to put more wood in my wood stove. I was worried I was getting the stove too hot & this gage takes the worry out.

Helpful trinket
Nice to know when the wood stove is burning efficiently. This makes it easy. I put a screw in to make sure the magnet doesn’t fail.

Worked great for one month then broke
For one month, while it worked, the thermometer was easy to use, easy to read. Then it fell off and broke. Would not recommend or buy again.

Great Thermometer
After dealing with a thermometer that was way off on the calibration, I went and bought the pipe and stove meter from Midwest Hearth. I got the old stove cooking, borrowed a laser thermometer, and found them to be extremely close to accurate, a far cry from being 250 -300 degrees off. Very happy with this product
