AIAIAI TMA-2 Headphones - Young Guru Edition Preset

I love this product, its comfortable, it feels expensive, the sound is incredible and better than any headphones I have tried previously. The modular design makes these headphones really innovative and unique to standard headphones. I have to repeat again , the sound they produce is truly incredible and very detailed. The bass is a bit too strong on them, but if you have an amplifier to further improve the experience its not a problem (with slightly reduced bass even better!).It only takes a second for the listener to fall in love with these headphones, as they notice when a member of the orchestra (considering you are listening to classical music like Rachmaninov for example) takes a breath in synchrony with the next musical note...or for the next string to be hit on the guitar by the likes of Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin. Yes that is how detailed and vibrant the sound is from these headphones... Truly awesome headphones, not worth wasting them on listening on mobile devices though, I would suggest getting some lossless .flac music files or buying musical CD's to listen to with these.

I've been DJing over 10 years now for the past 6 years I've used the dj sennheiser HD25 and they where on thier last legs. I've seen these pop up all over and decided to take the jump across. The sound quality ,Treble, Bass, Highs are next to none super quality and it cancels out the sound from outside. Very comfortable and the long cable is exactly what I needed to love around. Highly recommend.

Excellent design, great sound. I like the idea that parts are interchangeable and the use of planet saving materials. My favourite DJ Charlotte De Witte, inspired me to buy them. There great.

Great headphones for DJing. The HD25 is obviously the main competition:+s- For me, they're more comfortable- Better isolation when needed- More punch- Look cooler-s- Sound is not as neutral. Mids aren't quite as clear, and the low end is slightly over-emphasised. I'm pretty sure mine are broken in now. Might be a problem if you like mixing with your headphones on vs. using the club system/booth monitors.- Not as modular as the HD25s.

Great headphones

Amazing modular concept. Great clear and powerful sound suitable to all style of music. Would have been great ,as an option, to come with all the ear pads included (at a discounted price) because each ear pad type does really transform the listening experience and comfort and they aren't that cheap to buy separately (I bought 3 pairs so far it's starting to add up...). Other things to consider: The cans are flexible in all directions and sit well on (or around) your ears but they don't fold or swivel (like dJ classic headphone), the product is really tough but I wouldn't say indestructible either (essentially high grade plastic with a great rubberised finish that will probably get superficially scratched with time and use -personally I don't mind it but it might put off those who want their stuff to remain pristine for eternity- , they are also a bit "clampy" on the head so if you have a large head you should try them before buying and choose the ear pads option wisely (having said that those coming with the guru set are probably the most comfortable). More on the sound: The S04 are very sharp neodynium drivers with good tight and warm bass (not overwhelming) and a relatively flat response overall out of the box (which is a good thing unless you are a bass head I guess) and you don't need and amp to drive them. Finally the modularity of this kit means that if a better drivers (or one with a different signature) is being released in the future (on top of the existing range) you can easily buy them and swap them for a lot less than buying whole new pair of headphones, so again hat down to AIAIA for pioneering this concept, it's fun and most importantly it works very well.

I am not a pro although I have been in the audio world through AV work and then hobby audio and music stuff. I wanted a good pair of headphones having had the same pair for years. I was looking at reviews and comments and these kept coming up and the price was in a range of being high enough to fit the you get what you pay for bill but not brake the bank. The modular aspect is a bonus as replacement parts is cheaper than buying a new pair. The first day of using them I heard things that I could never have heard before using any of the equipment I have. Brilliant and stylish

Overall the sound quality is ok however there is a MAJOR DESIGN FAULT with the aiaiai headphones.The design fault is the headphone jack itself does not fully fit in to any headphone socket on a laptop, phone or even a DJ controller. When you try to insert the headphone jack in to any headphone socket the jack does not fully lock in place and this causes only part of the sound coming from from your music sources to be heard, the only solution is to tape the headphone jack in the socket or hold it in place with firm pressure.The headphone jacks are not manufactured as they should be to lock in place like any other pair of headphones.I always thought it was my headphone socket on my laptop but only just discovered that I have the problem only with the aiaiai headphones on any music source and all my other cheaper headphones work flawlessly and thr headphone jacks fully lock in place with no loss in sound.Tried emailing aiaiai for an exchange but no reply and cant even get through to Amazon customer service to exchange to replace the headphones!I am also a Dj so now have to rely on my sennheiser set which i have used for years to do the job and I have only owned my aiaiai headphones for a few months and cant use them due to them being defective!

Aislan bastante bien el audio, para mezclar en un evento grande o en el antro están increíbles

I bought these for my daughter. She makes a lot of music and needed to get a good pair of headphones for this. She has tried a few brands and they have been good but only good. Most of them were similar in price to these. I did some research and read the reviews and thought these would be a good fit for her. She said they are leaps and bounds above any other pair she has ever owned. No background noise and they are crystal clear in sound! They have surely appeased her picky taste!!

Soy DJ desde 1992 y he pasado por auriculares profesionales de distintas marcas, tales como Technics, Sennheiser y Sony. Aun que he probado otras marcas de compañeros, no los incluyo, ya que no he tenido tiempo para poder probarlos exhaustivamente.-De todos los auriculares que he tenido, me quedaría con los Technics RP-DH1200 por su sonido y su alta potencia, su cable, así como por su diseño tan bonito, pero no tanto por su peso y la presión que hace en las orejas.-Respecto a los Sennheiser HD25 son una delicia respecto a su peso, pero no tanto a su sonido, ya que tienen unos medios muy altos y unos agudos desbordantes, con una falta de grabes muy notable. En volúmenes altos, tienen una alta distorsión y más, cuando se tienen muchos grabes en la pista que está sonando. El tema de los recambios, han bajado mucho su calidad y han elevado su precio, ya que son un referente y por consiguiente, abusan de ello, el sonido en volumen bajo es muy nítido, pero como ya digo, hay una falta de grabes y los sonidos agudos son lo que más dañan los oídos.-Los SONY no voy a dar un veredicto ya que hace tanto tiempo y ya no están en mi poder, que no puedo hacer una comparativa entre todos estos anteriores que si que sigo teniendo.---------------------------Ahora vamos con los AIAIAI TMA-2 Professional DJ:La construcción es magnifica, se presenta en plástico de altísima calidad, resistente y maleable en su diadema, en la parte inferior de la diadema, donde nos toca con la cabeza, tiene una pieza de goma de alta calidad con el grabado AIAIAI, como ya digo, una altísima sensación de robustez y calidad. Todos sus componentes tienen un tacto gomoso o de silicona, muy agradable, incluso el cable. (las manos grasientas dejarán marca y limpiar con alcohol no es una buena opción por que podría estropear ese tacto)Los componentes son intercambiables, por lo que nos permite comprar repuestos he incluso hacer configuraciones para estudios y ocio, garantizando las futuras actualizaciones y recambios de por vida.En este modelo para DJ cuanta con unas esponjas muy agradables que aíslan increíblemente bien.El sonido tiene muchos puntualizaciones, por un lado, estamos hablando de unos auriculares planos, por lo que si no aplicamos ecualización, tendremos una escucha lo más fiel a la grabación original y esto es un plus, pero ojo, que el tema del sonido tiene miga, ya que si venimos de los Sennheiser, notaremos que faltan agudos y medios y le sobran grabes, al menos esto es lo que me pasaba a mi, al menos durante los primeros minutos, que tras subir el volumen y disfrutar de una grabación de alta calidad, pude disfrutar de unos grabes sorprendentes, incluso llevándolos al máximo, no pude observar distorsión alguna, (al final esto depende de la mesa de cada uno) los agudos no me molestaban y estaban bien matizados, así que tras 6 horas de sesión a un volumen muy elevado, mis oídos no acusaban daño "tinnitus o acufeno (mas conocido como un pitido agudo)" si que mostraban cansancio, como de presión, pero nada que no vivamos cuando nos subimos a un avión o similar, tras unos minutos se pasa.Respecto al cable, trae un cable muy parecido a los Technics, aun que el muelle está mas cerca del auricular y por lo tanto, acusa un poco más el peso en el auricular, creo que deberían orientar el diseño del muelle hacia el lado de la mesa, de tal manera que el peso de este se centre en la mesa y no en la cabeza, pero creo que esto es todo lo malo que puedo decir, por que el cable es de seguridad, con doble giro como el de los Technics, evitando la desconexión, el sistema es mucho mejor que los Sennheiser y su cable de mucha mayor calidad, tanto al tacto como en su composición y mas económico. Este cable se puede conectar en el auricular izquierdo como en el derecho, de este modo se hace compatible con la posición de la conexión de la mesa y de las manías del DJ sin alterar el canal izquierdo o derecho, siempre el el izquierdo será ese, lo conectemos donde prefiramos.Creo que la parte más complicada es acostumbrarse a la falta de exageración de agudos, si lo consigues, te darás cuenta de lo maravillosos que son. (Me costó una semana a volumen normal)Quizás y por sacarle un par de pegas, creo que falta un puntito en relieve o algo sutil, para saber cual es el auricular izquierdo y cual el derecho, ya que antes de conectarlo, podemos ver un borde rojo en uno de ellos, pero tras su conexión, no tendremos muchos más detalles.Por otro lado, como pega, podían haberse currado más la personalización, ya que al final el color negro, es un clásico y aun que nos gusta, la opción de tener el cable de distintos colores puede agradarnos y no solo el principal, si no el de la diadema, que solo salió una edición limitada con estos en amarillo, muy bonitos.Las esponjas solo están en negro.Entiendo que es una empresa pequeña y el gasto es elevado a la hora de sacar variantes para la customización, hay chinos sacando cables de colores para AIAIAI, así que antes de que otro se adelante, deberían optar por ello. Cuenta con un cable oficial en amarillo neon que he comprado inmediatamente, es una pena que no resalte con la luz negra, pero me gusta. También tiene un repuesto para el Smarphone (Móviles) que le añade control de volumen y micrófono para las llamadas (aun que no seré yo el que vaya por la calle con auriculares tan grandes) Cuentan con la variante del cable sin muelle, esponjas mas gruesas, etc. Para ver todos estos detalles a consejo visitar su web y ver cómo afectan al sonido y la respuesta de los auriculares ya que te hace la curva acústica en el momento.Si te gusta que algo sea de calidad y que suene muy bien, yo les doy un 10, un 3 en personalización estética y un 10 en los recambios y personalización acústica.

Die Kopfhörer kaufe ich nun zum dritten mal, mir gefällt das Klangbild und die Funktionallität sehr um als DJ Musik zu mischen. Anpressdruck des Bügels ist gut und der Klang für ausgewogen. Das Spiralkabel hat eine sehr gute Länge um sich hinterm Pult zu bewegen. Was in der Produktbeschreibung und auf den Verpackungen nicht erwähnt wird ist, dass hier bereits die neue Version mit den S02 MKII Treibern (Lautsprechern) verkauft wird, daher bietet Amazon derzeit den Bestpreis an (Juli 2023 178€).Meine erste Ausführung der AIAIAI TMA-2 DJ ist nun nach über 7 Jahren leider defekt, wobei der eigentliche Defekt im Spiralkabel lag und mit 25 € zu ersetzen gewesen wäre, zudem lösen sich die Ohrpolster E02 langsam auf und hätten weitere 35€ im Ersatz gekostet. Das Headband hat die Klebekraft von der Kunststoffeinlage verloren und wäre selbst zu reparien möglich.Da ich so begeistert von dem Kopfhörer bin habe ich mir das komplette DJ Preset erneut gekauft und nun Teile als Ersatz im Lager.
