Easy to find a leak!
This stuff’s th bomb. I was losing 1/2” of water from my inground pool every 24 hours. Without question; I was able to see exactly where it was being sucked into and the source of my leak- a stair spa jet housing. Used some silicone and tightened it up- no more water loss. Worth every penny!

Lots of dye and easy to use
This giant thing of dye will last you forever. It’s simple to use: stop circulation, and gently squirt some dye near suspected areas. If the dye pulls into it then it’s probably a leak. If it doesn’t then it isn’t. Works great and I’ve used it on many customers pools already. Don’t have to get wet.

Wow does this really work!
Great stuff-I was thinking whats the big deal about the UV mention as I do not have a black light.Added it to the pool and the Sun makes it glow! Just daylight does the trick- very impressed.I followed the advice of another pool dye reviewer and shut the pump off overnight for the currents/motion to settle down. I squirted dye along theThis pinpointed my leak to the skimmer- which is not what I needed. I’m loosing about an inch a week after using pool putty on some previous tile/pool repairs. The slow leek was harder to find.If I seal the skimmer by adding a plug at the bottom I get zero loss (evaporation has been insignificant when not heating pool) which to me means the leak is in the the piping from skimmer to pump.So at least I know where I am losing my water- thanks to this pool dye.

Found leak in soft-sided above ground pool - wish I had gone with blue
Found leak in soft-sided above ground pool but now my pool is yellow. I wish I'd gone with blue - the product hands together so it would have worked as well - I think. Way more product than I needed.

works great.
The media could not be loaded. The yellow color is a high vis fluorescent color. The idea behind this product is that it is used to find suspected leaks. in other words you squirt the dye near where you suspect the leak is. if there is a leak it will get sucked in. if not the dye slowly spreads in your pool until it dilutes and disappears. highly recommend.

Found my leak !!!!
Could not find where my pool was leaking . I got this stuff and used it as directed . It showed that I had a leak around one of my skimmers . If you have any mechanical skills , this product will be useful for you . After talking to pool builders , they say 90 % of leaks will be around the skimmers . This product will show where .

Awesome Product
I have an above ground pool that was leaking about 1 inch of water per week. Over the winter I let it go until it stopped losing water. Thinking I could visually find the leak, I tried food coloring, etc. Nothing seemed to work and I couldn't find it. Come spring I refilled it and gave it a couple of days for any current to stop. I took the syringe and about every 6 feet I applied a small amount. After going all around the pool, I gave it about 30 mins to "travel". Sure enough it lead me to the side seam. I applied a waterproof tape to the seam and waited a couple of days before repeating the process. This time no leaks, the color just stayed where I put it. This stuff is great mainly because it's VERY visible (yellow) and doesn't dissipate quickly. If you suspect a leak, this is money we'll spent. Nothing negative to report.
