Been looking at lightning for a while. Most of the ones I’ve seen are very cheaply made. Took a chance ordering these and wow they are amazing. Very good construction and looks like they will be around for a long time. The bulbs are completely replaceable. You can buy a box for spares for less than $20. Much better than the old glorified Christmas lights. I am also impressed that when you link two sets together, the spacing stays consistent with the spacing between the other bulbs. I will say the rubber seals on the sockets are a bit tight (a good thing) so you do have to put a little bit of pressure on the bulb to screw it in. Overall very impressed with these lights.

This is a replacement for the exact same Feit string lights that I currently have. They’ve been mounted on my deck railing for the past 6 or 7 years, 24-7, but have finally begun to fail. The harsh Minnesota winters aren’t the best for these, and some of the metal connector tabs inside the socket have weakened and come off. No complaints against Feit; I got 7 years of use out of them and it’s nice to start over with brand new lights.

I had bought the 2 of the 48 ft Feit LED string lights from Costco but I needed 30 additional feet, and Costco only carries 48 ft. Also, the Feit electric string lights at Costco have the clear LED bulbs. Amazon's 30 ft Feit Electric string lights were advertised as having amber light bulbs so I purchased 12 extra clear bulbs to match the Costco string lights I already had. But when I opened the box from Amazon, the bulbs were the same as the ones in the Costco box, clear and not amber at all. The description should be changed to state the bulbs are not amber but clear. I took off one star as I live pretty far from a UPS drop off and shouldn't have had to return the extra clear bulbs I bought if the product description were correct. I noticed (too late) a couple of other people mentioned this in the reviews. On the plus side, they are great lights and have a warm white glow at night!

These have a beautiful incadescent glow- not the harsh LED we all worry about. And it's a nice glow, not a bright overbearing light that reuires a dimmer. Perfect over the BBQ grill. They have worked well for months in our Maine home, through Hurricane Lee. I like 'em and highly recommend! The only negative (and caution) is that when you install the bulbs, you have to tighten them VERY HARD into the sockets or they may not light. Presumably this is to make a tight seal against weather. But the results are well worth it- great lights! And they come with 3 or 4 extra bulbs. I have a different set at home that I like from HD, and these are just as good!

These lights are very well made and seem as though they will last a very long time. I am puzzled tho because the description identifies them as amber, but the box they arrive in identifies them as clear. i would have preferred amber so ordered a second set thinking it may have been a mistake but they are also clear. there is no remote, they are quite bright, so may put them on a timer. all in all, a very good product.

I would definitely recommend these lights. They have a 16 gauge 3 wire cord. And are excellent quality !! Very satisfied with my purchase !!!

UPDATE ~I found that you have to push the bulb in before screwing it in. They are all working now.~~~~~~~~~~The bulbs are too small for the fixture. I tried contacting the company, but no luck!

The first time I bought these, after a few weeks the unit would just start blinking on and off in the middle of the night. I did all the stuff from the FAQ and it kept happening so I contacted the company and they told me to bring it back to the store I bought it from and swap it out for another.Second unit lasted a little over a year - just until it was out of warranty - and then just completely stopped working. I reached out to the company again and they were no help at all. Eventually I made enough noise that they issued me a refund, except they shorted me the full price of the unit and then argued with me about it.I have a few of their other products and they're mostly fine but having to deal with this level of terrible customer support - especially on something that costs $100 - has ensured I'll never buy anything else from them. For comparison, both Cree and Phillips were much more helpful when I needed help with their products.
