tl;dr: fat guy thinks it's great, minor flaws but not the end of the world.
I'm a big guy in all areas (5'7", 350, 48DD). I've had the binders that only have the compression in the bust, and frankly it made me look like a flat chested pregnant man- and frankly I'm not about that game. It felt super great, I didn't feel like I was being squeezed into oblivion, but it really did give me a masculine body shape. The fabric isn't the greatest feeling, but I found it quite comfortable regardless - I still recommend wearing a basic fabric sports bra or wife beater under it- y'know don't want to get chaffed nips.. The binder is super long- or maybe I'm just short torsoed, it goes down under my butt, but a quick fix is cutting and getting it surged or just dealing with the folds that it will have around your waist. The neck feels really big, but I think that has something to do with my weight, so I don't get the full on 'flat' look, but if you are a bigger person getting this don't expect 100% flattening- my chest looks more like a fat buff thing and I'm down for that. I don't feel like I'm wearing a binder so it's helpful.pros: full body, fair price, fairly good arm holes, sheer-ish back so I don't feel like I'm an oven.cons: neck line seems oversized, a tad long, material is a bit itchy- might be really uncomfortable for others.

Ftm here.
I’ve been binding for nearly ten years and since receiving my first one through the big brother program I really could not suggest any other brand/style. A bit hard to get used to at first but as someone who has a very physical job that involves quite a bit of moving I can say that this binder is extremely comfortable. I strongly recommend hand washing each day (I do this in the shower, I’m lazy) as this will definitely smell funny after a few days- not to mention can cause body acne. I’ve had no issue with it in the washer but the dryer tends to curl the edges just a bit- but also seems to shrink it which could be a benefit after it’s well broken in.

Not great for larger breasts/smaller people
[ Background info: I am a petite but fairly muscular person (5'3", 130lbs) with a larger-than-average bust (32 DD). I am trans-masculine and purchased this to use for daily binding ]Despite my rating, I want to be clear that this product is definitely better than a sports-bra in terms of general comfort and performance. If you're looking for a good first binder for the price or just something to get you a little flatter than a sports bra, this will do the trick. However, if you have larger breasts (I'd say a full C or larger) and you're looking for something to get you ace-bandage level flat, this alone probably won't get you there. I compiled some of my likes/dislikes to demonstrate some of the specific little details...Pros:- better than a sports bra for minimizing movement/jiggle- made with breathable materials so you won't get terribly sweaty if you're layering- isn't so tight that you can't breathe (once you get it on correctly)- gives the "buff" look; doesn't bind to completely flat, but can give the appearance of large pecs- promotes good posture; it's really hard to slouch while you're wearing this- not too expensiveCons:- nearly impossible to put on/take off without assistance for at least the first couple of wears- shorter people / people with shorter torsos will have a lot of extra fabric at the bottom- collar comes up a little high and seams are visible through light layers- fits somewhat awkwardly on an hourglass/curvy figure; pinches and bunches with a lot of movement- not an "extreme" amount of flattening (somewhere between a tight sports bra and an ace bandage)I'm giving this 3 stars because, though the product does work, it isn't very exceptional; It didn't provide me with the "extreme" "ultimate" "maximum... power" that I was expecting from the way it was advertised. This will definitely get you flatter than a sports bra, and if you wore it under a couple of layers you could appear to not have breasts, but his product definitely seems better suited for people with smaller breasts and/or traditionally masculine figures.

Excellent Product with this WARNING - READ THIS
This review is aimed towards middle-aged men with gynecomastia and sit/work at a desk all day...if this is you - pay close attention. I hesitated to write this review for several reasons, but let me start by saying that it really is a good quality product and does what it says; so I will eat this purchase since I have already worn them for two weeks (don't let this happen to you! Read On)One week after wearing these binders to work everyday (5 days a week), I started to feel some pain like tendonitis in the middle of my back/shoulder blades. I didn't think anything of it as I do a lot of extracurricular activities and work like a horse sometimes and am semi-physical; I thought that hunched over a keyboard all day and those things were causing the aching in my back/shoulder muscles...so I blew it off. BAD IDEA! I am exactly in between sizes...so I went down a size to ensure a good fit as I gain/lose weight consistently; this may have been on me, since the company recommended the size UP option. I wore the binders for another full week...and the pain worsened...by the next Friday I figured it out...it was a combination of the binder, past physical activities, and bad posture from being hunched over a keyboard for 8-10 hours a day! The binder is so well made that it caused me severe muscle strain and now a month later I am in pain everyday in my shoulder blade/bicep with no hope for relief in sight. If you are in your 50's...I urge you NOT to throw caution to the wind and understand that this could happen to you too!

Order a size up
I ordered two of these binders, and received the first one today. After reading many reviews, I ordered a size up. I typically wear a medium in any shirt/tank top/sports bra, but ordered a large in this, and it fits wonderfully. It is really long, but I just tuck it in. My only real complaint is that it bunches up and bulges on the very top part of my chest, but a medium definitely would be too tight all around. This will work great under my suit tops at the office, but I would not recommend for athletic activities in the 100-plus degree heat where I live.
