This is the first electric panini press I purchased. I didn’t have much faith in this one because it was an unknown brand and so inexpensive. But I am incredibly happy with this purchase. It makes perfect panini every time. The temperature control is managed by the press automatically. It’s easy to clean and use. Simply plug it in and use. I only had this for a week and used it only handful of times, but so far so good. I highly recommended.

This door-hinge design gizmo over squeezes and burns bread on toaster's door hinge side and minimally toasts it on the other side- it's even worse with sandwiches because hinge pressure over squeezes them even more on the hinge side and forces them open on the door opening side- this action pushes the inner layers out. Who in their right mind would want this silly thing?

It is not so powerfull that it takes a long time to prepare a panini and the cheese in it melts so slowly.

This panini grill is easy to operate and makes crispy panini sandwiches with gooey insides. It operates with preset temperature controls where a red and green light both light up when you turn it on to start heating and when it comes to temperature the red light turns off leaving the green light on to signal it's time to start making your panini. You can fit at least two large panini style sandwiches or four regular loaf bread sandwiches and then close the lid and the red light will come back on along with the green to indicate that it has cooled down and has begun the grilling process. The paninis are done perfectly when the red light turns off again, as simple as that. It's also easy to wipe clean with a paper towel or a panini brush after unplugging. It also stores upright or flat in an appliance garage or any cabinet where you would store pots and pans. Great purchase for the price!

This is easy to use but takes some experimentations to get the perfect sandwich. Would have liked a better instruction booklet. Maybe some sandwich making suggestions, like possible times. I am a very good cook, not bragging, so after 2 tries to got the temperature and times right, I got that great panini. The machine is really easy to clean, I am very happy about that. The little drawer catching the oils is a great idea. We have use it a lot for fast lunches. My suggestion is used good dense bread, no holes. If you butter the bread make it very light on the outside. Mayonnaise should also be light. Sliced cheeses work the best but shredded will work in a pinch. I am going to try quesadillas next, maybe fast grilled onions. This machine is really fun.

The press cooks quickly and seemingly, well. There is no way to adjust the temperature despite what a few reviewers have written - it is one temperature, period. The biggest issue is the inability to wash the plates properly. You can't take them off to thoroughly clean them. I just made some chicken with a sauce and I am using paper towel after paper towel trying to get it clean - really frustrating. I am aware there is a brush but that is not for removing sauce. I've had models in the past that I could clean by removing the plates so thought this one would work the same way.

I just received it and it was supposed to be new, but it definitely is used. The top has stains on the stainless steel surface that won't come off, the inside had a white paper inside with some red sauce on it and the cord is not properly wrapped as when you buy new items. NOT HAPPY!

Ideal for what we were aiming. Good steaks, good paninis....
