13 Reasons Why: Season Two

It may say 'Region 4' on the box, but my copy of this arrived today and i can confirm that it works fine on my UK DVD player. Now looking forward to watching the series.

Good service but it’s a Xmas present

This doesn't deserve one star necessarily but sometimes it's the only way to make your point. I quite enjoyed season 1 and season 2 but was so disappointed by the appalling way the male rape scene was handled; so much so that I refuse to watch season 3. What I had admired about the show was the way it had portrayed rapes in the past, a lot was suggested and the actresses were respected. So why when doing the male rape scene was it so gratuitous? It was so unnecessary, as, unlike previous rape scenes, the actor was naked and we had to see the blood. In addition, it was slightly ridiculous, the bang to the head of the victim on the sink would have killed him. I think American TV in particular is heading towards these shock scenes but when it comes to rape, it is necessary to treat the issue with the upmost respect. This wasn't my only issue with the end of season 2, it was all just too depressing and seemed to hint that the previous rapist wasn't so bad after all. Sorry guys, you lost me at season2.
