There were some minor cracks in the wood from the start, but it does its job. It’s good for cutting and dries fast.

Been using this board for a while now and after reading some reviews I also found the board to not be to a finish I thought it would be ,it’s a bit rough to start so disappointed with that but easy to sort out I bought some chopping board beeswax and applied it with 0000 grade wire wool which took the rough out the wood and also helps the wood. I saw some people were saying the their board had bowed after washing. I don’t put my board into water, I use the soapy water to wash the top of the board only then dry it straight away . I would say this is my go to board now and with a little care looks better then when I bought it.

Been looking for some stylish modern kitchen boards and these finish the look in my kitchen making cooking / chopping time fun. Love to cook so these were important, have the large and small, perfect t sizes and super happy. Wood color is beautiful too against my white tiles!

Ticks all the boxes so far .Wanted a large board as wanted the space when chopping veg etc. The smaller boards just don't seem to have enough space for me. This board is quite large.Didn't want to pay too much for one , this board based on looking around on amazon appears a decent price for the size.Wanted a wood board so unlike a glass board it wont dull my knives. Note as this is wood a sharp knife will mark it.I would like it to last a while and is the only thing at time of writing the review ( Feb 2017) I cannot comment on.At 2cm thick it is thinner than most wood chopping boards.It is lightweight and easy to hang up/storeDoubles up as a serving platterSo far it does the job.

Lovely wood, used it for a veggie grazing board for our first post Covid party and it worked great. Knocked off one star because it had a strange smell (strangely enough, a bit like bad morning breath 🤷‍♀️) that we couldn't get rid of before using it; hopefully it'll go away.

I bought this chopping board as it was a good size and made of acacia wood, which is supposed to be hard wood. Unfortunately, it it very soft - to a point that knife's blade easily cuts into it. The finish wasn't great with like soft splinters here and there, but after a few washes this is not a problem anymore.Overall, I was expecting something sturdier. I don't think I would buy this again.

I like the size of this board - larger than most - but i was very disappointed by the quality. On arrival the grain was raised in several places leaving a very rough surface. My husband worked it over with fine wire wool and I then applied several coats of oil. This worked temporarily but within a few days the grain was raised again needing more sanding & oiling. We have only wiped the board down with a damp cloth & it has never been immersed in water or allowed to get very wet so it isn't misuse that is causing the problem. Guess what? Within a few days the grain rose again. I'm sure we will eventually stop his cycle but this isn't a cheap board and I would have expected better - pretty sure Jamie O wouldn't be happy with it.

Actually used the board as part of a project to make an ocean wave serving board. Most the way through, but the board is lovely, lightweight and wood looks beautiful. Seems like its easy to clean and rather durable, but time shall tell!
