Need to be in water otherwise leaves shrivel up in sun
The Lilly leaves shade the KIO fish and can’t be eaten by them as KIO can be destructive

Ideal but you need to glue together and hold in place with line and a weight.
Added colour and cover to pond and for fish when everything had died down, they will blow away and they move around on the pond. Glued them together and weighted down with line and weight. Not perfect for everyone straight out of the packaging but with a little thought and diy they did the job. Not sure what else you could use, all ponds will be different so you need to make them work for your individual needs. I didn’t mind that. I even trimmed a couple of the pads, just because I thought they needed shaping after gluing them together. If you’ve spent a fortune on pond and fish then maybe these aren’t for you but for my little pond and a few fish they’re just the job.
