I got 2 sets of these lights. 1 for upstairs and 1 just to have around and use for anything really. The set that was hung up upstairs still works fine however the other set was fine but the remote stopped working. It says on the box that these lights are okay for outdoor/garden use. I decided to put my other set outdoors for Christmas 2022 and it was fine until about a week later and half the set stopped working, when I took down the Christmas lights I noticed that the wires between some of the lights where rusty and then the whole set stopped working after I took them down, the bit of wire that led into the first LED was rusty and snapped off and I had to throw the lights away. The remote also didn’t always work and they say they are fit for outdoor use but they are really not. Wouldn’t recommend

I bought these lights to use outside with a USB powerbank. The first time I used them they only worked for 2 hours before the battery was flat. According to the manual, the power consumption is 5W implying it draws a current of 1A. Hence a 10Ahr (10000mAhr) power bank will need recharging daily and a larger 20Ahr will last about 3 days if using the timer function. As a comparison I have a battery powered string of 100 led white lights using 3 AA batteries which lasts about 3 weeks using the 8hr timer.The lights and lighting effects are very good. I would recommend using these with a USB mains adapter.

I use it around the ceiling of my room. It's pretty good and dark enough for me to sleep with it on but bright enough for me to see around my room easily. Only issue I can think of is on the rainbow fade option it jitters slightly between two colors (I think red and orange).

Great value and perfect to add cozyness to kids bedroom.. I originally bought for the Red tone as I wanted a good night light that promotes sleep.. This is perfect as its not an invasive light, especially on that colour... I was worried about the button battery in the remote but you can use without, by pressing the button on the plug instead which scroles through the setting.. I leave on red mostly and turn off and on at the plug and it retains the setting.. Just bought a second set for my son. The choice of colours is great.. The true colours are purer.. Red blue and green... The others aren't exactly as shown but totally fine and plenty of variety. The change settings are available in a few fade /calm and a few more disco type pulses.. I think this is a really good product and when I redo my conservatory I will be buying more for there.

We had Christmas lights around the bedroom, and when it came time to take them down, it felt kinda soulless! So I bought these lights for year-round use, and I absolutely love them! They're just the right amount of bright, and the color selections are all different and beautiful. They can really be used to set a mood. Very easy to put up (I used command decorating clips) and I love that the lights are tight along the wire so they don't snag in the wardrobe or dresser. Haven't tried the timer function yet, so can't comment on that.My only quib with them is that the remote control works for the lights - as well as my oil diffuser. So if I turn on the lights, my oil diffuser comes on, as well 😅 which might be a plus for some people!

Our first set wasn't perfect, but having communicated with the supplier, a replacement was sent before you could blink. The wires aren’t copper coloured, they’re a silvery white, so I was initially disappointed, however the ability to change colour easily is a fab feature. I haven’t used the timer yet. Remote came with a battery included and a spare one too. Overall, very pleased. I just need to find a way to disguise that silver wire on my dark wall now.

They work well and I would recommend but there isn’t much difference in the colour blue,purple and pink but I would recommend they were difficult to untangle when they came and difficult to put up but that could have just been me.

There is a lot to like about these lights. The price is very competitive and you get a lot (10m and 100 lights) for a reasonable £11.99. The lights are also very bright and quite capable of lighting a small room sufficiently by themselves. They are convenient to power (by USB) and the length of the power cable before the first LED is a sensible length that suited my needs perfectly. The remote control and changing of colours/patterns is very responsive and not fiddly to point in any given direction - something I've had with other RGB lights.The range of colours is better than ok and the speed control for the pattern effects is very welcome. The only downsides I would mention about these lights is it would have been nice to have some more pattern effects (e.g. a chasing flowing effect). There isn't a brightness/dimmer function but I don't think this would be strictly necessary for the fairy lights' function so I'm not too disappointed by that.Overall an excellent product for a great price.
