I used this citric acid as part of a homemade dishwasher cleaner mix, and it worked like a charm. Combined it with baking soda and a few drops of essential oil—cleared out the grime and hard water buildup, and the dishwasher smells fresh again. Good quality, fine texture, and a solid amount for the price. Definitely recommend if you're making your own cleaners.

We have hard water in a rural area, and I use about a tablespoon of this in my dishwasher regularly to keep build up out of it. It seems to also aid in the dishes drying well - especially noticeable with rubbermaid containers. Sadly, the hard water ruined my Tervis tumblers before I found this. I started with a name-brand citric acid sold in local retailer, but it was alot more expensive. this works very well in place of that.

I purchased this to clean our large 169 oz Zojirushi VE hybrid water boiler. The water boiler often gets limescale from our hard tap water. With the descaling setting and a generous amount of this citric acid, the water boiler is able to be cleaned without much effort. This is a lot less expensive than the tiny packets of citric acid that Zojirushi sells and allows us to clean our water boiler a lot more often. Would recommend for anyone needing to clean out their water boilers.

This is a quality item. A must have for every home. Item itself has so many uses. From cleaning to food. I couldn't find it at local shops even though I live in a very big city. It cost so much online because of the weight to ship it.
