This is a plastic cover for metal exposed with doors off. But still protects when doirs are back on.
Works as advertized, easy to install & looks good.

The simplest install with great results
These worked perfectly! There is only the lick showing now and everything else is blacked out perfect! It is such a clean look and super easy to install. I highly recommend these for your jeep, they fit my 2018 JK Sahara with no problems.

Fit better on some doors than others
2015 Jeep Wrangler JKU, these fit fine on the front doors and the back door to the trunk, snapped in easy and fit flush, and adds a nice "finished look". However, for some reason they did not fit as flush on the rear passenger doors on both sides, maybe there's something slightly different on those, maybe a different screw head or different washer or some other small difference. But they went on easy. They don't change how the doors close or seal at all (and I didn't expect them to) as this is a purely visual mod. I heated the first two with a hair dryer, did the rest cold. I think I understand what's happening on the ones that customers report as breaking: it's a very small connection on the left and right edge so if you let the plastic bend, and it's cold, it may be prone to snapping. Just press it in flat and quick, so the latch loop pushes through without the cover bending.

I picked these up for my son's Wrangler, they went on easily and look nice. The red is exactly what was needed to offset the black.
