I was originally really worried about ordering essential oils online. I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist, and let's be real, there are a million things that an order goes through during shipping. Not only was this item shipped to me ( both FedEx and USPS had their hands on this one ) but as a "Fulfillment by Amazon" order it was shipped to them too.However, Frannie shipped the items packed in her own tight fit bubble wrap, at least that's what I'm assuming since the wrap was sealed really well ( not that Amazon is incapable of this, it just didn't seem like they did that part ) and then they had plenty of air pillows to cusion the product.I almost worried when I opened the bubble wrapping and there was a strong peppermint smell. Well seeing how the weather in my part of the country reached sub freezing temeratures I guess it caused just a little seepage from the sealed bottle. Not enough of the oil had leaked to cause any significant loss of product.I bought these for some holiday gift ideas and WOW they weren't kidding. If any carrier oils were used I couldn't tell, every one of them was delightfully strong and my first project, a test run of an epson salt bath soak made my wife feel great AND smell awesome ( I used a sweet orange, rosemary, and hint of eucalyptus combo ) and to top it off it drove my cat CRAZY. she ran all over the house and would pause sniff my wifes hands arms and feet ( any exposed skin ) and BOOM off again.She has already received several requests for info on where she got the wonderfull lotion she uses too. This was just shea butter and a mix of olive and coconut oils to battle the dry winter air mixed with a drop or two of lavander some sweet orange and again just a drop of the eucalyptus.I can't wait to send out my gift baskets to friends and family members.Before I submit this review I did want to address one more thing I noticed. As I said earlier IF there was a carrier oil used I couldn't tell, These oils are STRONG. I made small batches of both test product and again WOW... my first batch of bath soak REEKED in a really good way, be advised try a test run to verify the potency. It was very easy to add too much oil to the finished product. What does this mean for the average gift maker / hobbyist? $AVING$ the less you have to use the more you can make and as a dude on a budget this was a huge deal to me.

I did a lot of reviews on essential oil companies before breaking away from the young living scene (way too overpriced for my wallet), and my researching lead me to fabulous frannie and I'm so glad it did. These oils last forever whether you diffuse them or use them topically in a carrier oil. The scent stays strong for a very long time. This starter pack is absolutely fantastic and I've already recommended it to many people! I have not yet had a chance to use all of these oils, but I have tried 2. The peppermint which is too potent for my senses (not just this particular oil, but peppermint scent is irritating to me) I tried to see if it might be somewhat milder. It was not so I will not be using it again. The other oil was the Eucalyptus. It is very pleasant, mild but a lingering scent that follows me around as I move about the room.I will be waiting to try the others over a period of weeks or even months as I also received some essential oils as Christmas gifts and I sure can't wear them all at once or constantly.

While I don't love all the scents, they seem like really great quality essential oils! Very fragrant with just a couple of drops. Will definitely reorder from this brand in the future.

I bought this to help me create homemade sugar scrubs and bath salts. The packaging is so so cute that I would be more than willing to give these as a gift to someone who has been wanting to experiment with essential oils. The little ribbon on the box is elastic and held down with a fabulous frannie sticker. There is brown tissue paper inside the box and a cute little list of ways to use the oils. I will say that they are potent. This came in an amazon box with three other items and as soon as I opened the box I could smell the Eucalyptus. It had not leaked or been opened at all. So if you want to surprise the recipient I would double box this gift. I am really excited to use these and very pleased with the adorable packaging. Also this shipped very quickly. I received my items a day ahead of time.

i really only wanted the peppermint and lavender to add to my hair rinse (i'm a no-poo and use apple cider vinegar to rinse and just wanted something to make sure i dont smell like salads), so i got this to have other scents to try. its cute, and it seems like they all smell decent enough. i did add the orange to my bath this morning following the directions and had such a burning sensation that i had to get out within 10 minutes but i dont know if that was just me having a reaction... i havent had any issues applying to my scalp in the rinse, or when i add a few drops to my hairbrush, so maybe it's just the orange?

This has been one of the best purchase I've ever made. The oils are definitely pure! The Rosemary oil has been my cure for cold sores! It is simply amazing. I've been cold sore free since. Now here is the thing, I used two drops in my tea daily for about a month and I did not have any recurrences. 8 months free of cold sores from being bothered every month. This morning I felt that usual sensation and the good thing is that I had my Rosemary oil! I applied some directly on the spot and low and behold by this evening the swelling is totally gone! I love the Tea tree oil for my hair and I can go on about the others! I'm now a believer in essential oils and waste no time in reading about their benefits. I highly recommend!
