I wanted something to clean the soft spikes on my golf shoes of the caked-on grass after a round of golf. This Superio has more tufts on the bottom than the others by quite a bit. There are 360 individual tufts. Many have only 40. The next most was one with 240 tufts. One review here stated that the side tufts (horizontal ones) aren't high enough. That's true, particularly for my golf shoes. Another review here observed that this isn't put together well, they just use some thin staples in addition to several screws. I'm really good with tools and like to tinker with things and figured I'd toughen this up. When I received it yesterday I realized I could raise the horizontal tufts but decided not to because even if it did help clean the sides of my golf shoes, I'd still have to do the front and back manually with a hand brush. Besides that the grass on the sides wouldn't all be cleaned of no matter how much I raised the tufts. When I decided to do (and did today) was drill some holes and drive in some nails to fortify the thin staples. More importantly, I cut out two pieces of some thin sheet metal I had lying around and nailed them to the bottom of the Superio to stick out from the sides. I can now stand on one of those and the Superio is held firmly in place as I scrape the junk from my shoes. It was a bunch of work but it should now serve me very well. Another reviewer here noted that this cannot be left in the sun or the ultra violet will disintegrate the bristles in a single season of sunny weather. I intend to keep mine in the shade!

It seems to be well constructed and it seems to be holding up with use.

If you keep this out in the sun, expect the lighter bristles to break off first. That’s okay for a season, but this should last longer.

Sturdy and effective brush for household and yard use. I use it at home after being in the yard / garden, it is perfect for hiking boots and tennis shoes. It is low profile, easy to move around. I've not had it long to see how it will stand up to weather, will update after winter.To address some of the comments:Low bristles: For daily household use, yard and garden and trail stuff - this brush is great for tennis shoes and hiking boots. I don't need to wet anything to get it off, it works better dry. Concrete or construction gook, it might be inadequate. I could see this wearing out with heavy duty work boots with deep grooves and serious muck and a lot of guys in and out.Moving around when you use it: mine is outside on a concrete step, and doesn't move when I use it. If it slides a little, I just rest my left foot on the front edge while scraping the right, and vice versa. Tile or indoor flooring in a mud room, even a smooth garage floor, I could see it moving. Maybe some rubber feet from the hardware store would help, a rubber mat, or that non-skid rug mat that you place under throw rugs, since you can cut that stuff to size.

After adding decomposed granite outside we purchased these to prevent small rocks from damaging our hardwood floors.. They work good, easy to use and so far have prevented any damage.

Love the multi brushes and the look of it. A bit light so you will need to hold on a wall or sit down to use it.

This was a good deal for the money. Only complaint is that it would be nice if it had ribber feet so it didn't slip around so much while using.

Very good . I have need to screw the whole frame to a wider wood because it moves when i brush by shoes. In other words it is not sturdy. But for the price it is ok. You still have sand when you enter the house.

This is working very well to stop my husband from bringing in shavings and sawdust from his workshop. Wish the bristles on the sides were a little longer to get rid of snow better. All in all, it works great.

My husband was concerned that it would not be sufficiently sturdy to do the job...he’s changed his mind...the quality is superior for the price.
