Hope for the Despairing Christian
I read Gerry Beauchemin's book Hope Beyond Hell several years ago and found it to be very helpful in my faith journey. While my beliefs have continued evolving since then, becoming convinced that a loving God would never allow any of His creation to suffer eternally was life-changing for me. When I learned in an email from Gary Amirault that Gerry was writing a new book, I decided I would like to read it and explore once again the wonderful message of Universal Salvation.Hope is a theme and virtue that is very important to me, and I believe that this book provides indescribable and invaluable hope to earnest, loving, yet fearful Christians who have a hard time reconciling the God they love with the fact that they've been taught that He will torture (or allow to be tortured) the vast majority of his human creation for eternity. It's a fairly easy read, with ten chapters each containing a compelling reason that Christians can accept the hope of Universal Reconciliation. For those who want to go deeper, there is a wealth of fascinating and enlightening information in the footnotes that offers even more evidence for this hope.If you, like myself, have had bouts of fear, depression, panic, and despair over the possibility that you or your loved ones might be abandoned by God forever, I urge you to read this book. It offers scriptural, well-reasoned arguments that Jesus would do and has done all that is necessary to redeem every person ever created.

Good News That is Actually Good 🙂
I just finished reading a prepublication copy of Hope For All.About 10 years ago, I left my pastoral role in a church that my wife and I had helped plant. We were troubled by a condemning element in the denominational agenda. It came down to me imagining myself standing before God and either telling Him that I walked away so I could remain gracious and loving to everyone or staying with the church and telling God that, occasionally, we threw someone under the bus to keep the machine running! I had never seriously considered the idea that hell was not an everlasting punishment at that time, but I had noticed that I never used the threat of punishment as a way to share my faith, and that over the years, I’d had the joy of leading a number of people to faith in Jesus. After we left the church, there was a desire on the part of the leadership to discredit me. They felt betrayed because an inner circle leader had walked away from them and it was easiest to assume that the problem was with me. I guess my life was not too terrible, because none of the discrediting came to anything. But then Gerry Beauchemin came along!I don’t remember how I found the first copy of Hope Beyond Hell, but Wow, I’m glad I did find it. I read the book and almost immediately rejoiced and embraced the message of God’s love for all people. I had believed that God loved all people before, but the book put meat on the bones of that belief. To say that God loves people means something now. To say that Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords means something now. When the narrative was that Satan took 97% of creation and God gets 3%, it didn’t mean as much to call Jesus the King of kings or the Lord of lords.I shared my understanding of God’s love for people and His ultimate redemption of humanity on my Facebook page and with people individually. Leadership in my old fellowship pounced on the opportunity to declare me a heretic. One of the leaders met me for lunch, interviewed me about my understanding of hell, and let me know that he would be unable to sit at the same table with me again, even for a cup of coffee. It was sad, but instead of being hurt too badly by it, I was able to see the people there as people who are dearly loved by God. Someday, they will be sorry for trying to harm me, even though now they view it as a way to protect others from false teaching. But, that is not the end of the story by any means. As I have rejoiced in the greatness and goodness of God, people who disliked, didn’t care about, or even hated the church have come around and listened to the Good News. When they hear that the good news is really good, they are drawn to God. His kindness really does lead people to repentance.‘Hope For All’ is wonderfully written. It is thorough and full of support from scripture. Occasionally, I review books, as I am an avid reader. ‘Hope For All’ gets the best marks of any book I have ever read. It is detailed, researched, and supported like an academic work, but it is a quick read that is full of life for everyday readers. The message is simple to understand and it is reinforced many times over from various historical, biblical, and other points of view. As the book progresses, the terrible spectre of an everlasting conscious torment slowly fades. In its place, the reader finds a God who does not quit loving, does not give up, does not fail, and does not fear. A person could easily hate Christianity on page one and fall in love with Jesus somewhere on the pages ahead. I can picture the pain of ‘knowing’ that a close friend or relative who committed suicide and is now in hell fading away into hope as one reads this book. For me, the message of the book caused me to say from the heart that Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords! As the perfect love of God casts away all fear, I pray that God uses this book to cast a fear-filled doctrine away from our churches and replace it with the everlasting conscious love of God!

Are you up for the challenge?
If God’s love is truly unconditional then “Hope For All” is the biblical proof that God never gives up on humanity and his love truly knows no bounds. Maybe God didn’t manage to win a mere 2% of his creation as evangelicals from nearly every evangelical flavor proclaim. Could he really reconcile ALL things and win 100%? Maybe the parable of the lost sheep really means he ends up with a complete flock. Wouldn’t that offend a few of us in the pew? But why should we expect less? Maybe the lake of fire purifies instead of torments. Maybe God is the Lake of Fire? Some of us in the Christian faith would love to believe in such a gospel but our image of God is more of a judge and not as a father. If Christ’s sacrifice really did purchase the world and not just the saints… why would he not get what he paid for? Could Gerry’s image of God and biblical exegesis be correct or just wishful-thinking by a softhearted pastor who is extremely deceived and maybe guilty of deceiving others, too! If you’re up for the challenge then read it for yourself. As for me, I’m going to use it in our home church studies. If nothing else it will surely create a great discussion. Maybe there really is “Hope For All”.

A Great Encouragement for All Who Were Taught Eternal Conscious Torment
Gerry Beauchemin has followed his landmark book, Hope Beyond Hell, with Hope For All. This book systematically presents ten reasons that God's love prevails for all His children. If you have always thought that you HAD to believe in eternal conscious torment because the churches you attended all had it in their Statement of Faith, you will be amazed and overjoyed to realize that the scriptural evidence for the ultimate reconciliation of all is far greater than the traditional teaching and aligns perfectly with our Father who IS perfect love and never fails.

Love this book!
I'm like many people that attended church feeling that God was watching my every move waiting for me to mess up so He could chastise me or condemn me. This book (and another by Julie Ferewda) has changed my opinion of God and how His love for me and EVERYONE else is far greater than my feeble expectations. The author has used scripture to verify his writings and has used common sense to enlighten the reader. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

This book is incredible!
Having been on a bit of a faith deconstruction over the last 18 months. I found myself questioning the idea of eternal separation from God. I have been reading lots of book on this subject as well as listening to lots of podcasts. I stumbled across Gerry's book when looking for books on the possibility that God could and would reconcile all people to himself. My word, I wish that I found this book years ago.Gerry has a wonderful writing style, he is clear, explains things well and it is obvious he has spent a lot of time researching and looking into this subject. Hope for All gives ten clear reasons as to why we can confidently believe that God does reconcile all to himself. This book was such a joy to read and I have now recommended it to so many friends. In fact now that I've started talking to people on the subject of the possibility that God could reconcile all, I have found many closet Christians, many of whom are leaders who either believe or are highly hopefull of this view. This is a truly wonderful book.

This book is a most wonderful corrective to the destructive misrepresentation of the scriptures.
This book demonstrates that the Gospel is truly Good News for all of mankind past, present and future. It shows that we can and should have hope in The God who is defined as being love itself and sets us free from the prison of our fears. It is a must read, especially if like me, you have always desperately wanted to believe in The God of love but have found yourself wrestling with the idea of a God of punishment and terror. This book will help the reader to see clearly, with a great deal of evidence, how the scriptures should be correctly interpreted.

A challenging but cheerful read
Always seeking the truth. This books give a different perspective on some of the knowledge I thought I had. I am still making up my mind about the content. It is well written though and very comprehensive.

God is Love and Love Never Fails!
I read Gerry Beauchemin’s first book, Hope Beyond Hell, a few years ago when the Spirit was leading me into truth about the Father's heart. That book, along with other writings regarding universal reconciliation, moved me from fear of hell for those who had not accepted Christ to awe of the all encompassing plan of salvation in the heart of our Heavenly Father before the foundation of the world. Gerry’s new book, Hope For All: Ten Reasons God’s Love Prevails, is another treasure chest of truth, hope and joy that causes my heart to rejoice even more in the EVERLASTING, UNFAILING LOVE of our Heavenly Father and His Son - HalleluYAH!The writing is concise and yet VERY comprehensive in presentation. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, including the endnotes, which led me on many interesting side trails as I watched videos or bookmarked other writings. I greatly appreciate the OVERFLOWING abundance of scripture passages from various translations that are presented in a pointed, laser light fashion, that do not detract from the flow of easy reading, and yet also give opportunity for abundant study. This is definitely a book that I will treasure and refer to many times. If you desire to know the Father’s heart of love and justice in truth, and are willing to be set free from the myths and lies about hell, you will be greatly enlightened and encouraged to embrace the incredibly glorious good news of ALL that the Saviour has done for ALL people.
