My wife actually purchased this device to flatten sewing threads. It works fairly well for that. However two items kept it from getting five stars: it does not close flat on the heating services, the front has a gap in a closest tight at the rear so I assume it would have the same affect on here. And there is a slight plastic smell when it heats up.Update: 9/22/18...well it just died. Seems to have a short in it. Lasted about 3 days of lite intermittent use. Light comes on & it briefly starts to heat up then goes cold. Has a full charge, just appears to be defective. Returning it for a different brand....bummer, my wife really hoped this would work for her. Revised rating from 4 to 2 stars. I have no doubt the Mfg would have exchanged it but I feel more comfortable going with a different mfg.

There was a problem with the wireless hair iron I purchased. The seller immediately sent a replacement. A shipping problem prevented it getting to me, so the seller sent a second replacement--all the while staying in touch to let me know that they were staying on top of the situation. I highly recommend this seller. And I like the product. It is an excellent tool for traveling and for using for a quick touch up. I like that it has adjustable heat so it doesn't damage the hair. I recommend the product, as well.

So far, so good! The flat iron plates are about 1/2 inch wide so you can't flat iron your whole head. This device is good for short hair and touch ups! I was surprised by how hot it gets. So far, I'm happy with this purchase!

My order arrived in a timely manner. It was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a small straightener for my bangs when I camp or as my kids say I am now glamping. I have only tried it once and it worked great.

Little, fashion design. Very cute and easy to use. When I go out I can carry it easily. The only problem is that it doesn’t smell good.

I had hoped the 'off-gassing' electronic burning chemical smell would dissipate after heating up this flat iron a few times. Unfortunately, not the case! If anything, every time I turn this thing on the smell just gets EVEN STRONGER. It was so bad the last time that it stank up my entire house. It's powerful enough it will sting your eyes and burn your nose in a room with the door shut after only about 2 minutes of being on. HORRIBLE. So disappointing, I was really hoping this would be the answer to my travel needs, but I guess I'll have to keep looking. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

This little straightener is the perfect go to accessory every girl that uses a straightener should have! I have wavy hair and always have a piece that does it's own thing later in the day, and I love that I can turn this on and within seconds it's ready to discreetly fix my hair at work and then put it back in my desk. I really like that it has different temp settings so you don't have to fry your hair and love that it charges via USB. I really recommend this bad boy!

This flat iron is perfect for what I need. It’s small and light to travel with. I bought it to straighten my bangs and it works well with 3 heat settings. It also curls hair if you use a small enough piece. Not meant for a whole head of hair, but good for touch ups and bangs. Came charged, used to straighten my bangs about 7 times now, have not had to charge it yet.
