Was bought for Parakeets but perch on swing was way to skinny for them to hang on to.

It took a minute for my birds to get used to it but now they adore it :)

I got this swing for my parrotlet. I'm leery of the dyes and coatings as a lot of these bird toys and items come fromChina and they use toxic things and lead. I bought this one based off the good reviews and made the assumption that it is safe. I can't say for sure because there aren't any descriptions of what's on it. I'm questioning what is obviously some kind of clear coat on the beads. Any dyed bird toys that I've gotten that had dyed wood were unfinished. So I'm not sure this is actually safe. I am thinking if I see her start to chew the beads I will take it away.She LOVES to chew the bark off of the bottom part that is just a stick, it doesn't appear to have any added dyes or finishes on it and we've had it over a month now and she isn't showing any signs of illness so it seems to be safe so far.

A lot of reviewers said this swing was much smaller than they expected. I have 2 Linnies (Lineolated Parakeets), and took a chance that it would work. Glad I did. They love it! Linnies are about the size of a large parrotlet or lovebird. As usual, it took them quite a while to start using it. Pancho, the green grey-winged, got on it first. Shortly thereafter, Cisco, the cobalt blue, followed suit. (Monkey See Monkey Do). Now they climb all over the beads, hanging upside down and by one foot, trying to outdo the other. Frequently, they just sit side by side, swinging to their hearts content. The beads are similar to the ones on my beaded ladder, just smaller. The dye does come off a little bit every time I clean, but it's not toxic. I just try to be careful. Great toy.

Update: He finally took to it! It took more than a month, but I should be used to him being hesitant about new things in his play area. One day, I looked over and he was happily swinging on it. And within a few days, he had chewed all the wooden beads off of it. So, it ended up being a fun swing, it just didn't last very long for him. But that's typical. For the price, I'll probably end up ordering more of them. I'm just happy that he has finally decided that a swing is for him.

My birds didn't like this swing. That is not the fault of the swing. I can never tell if my birds will like a toy until I get it. They are suspicious of new items so I put new things in their view but away from their cage. Every few day I move it closer to their cage. Then I will put it on top of the cage for them to inspect. If they are not too afraid, they will go up top to have a closer inspection. If they like it I will put it in their cage. They never took to this swing. I hung it on their window perch and they never used it. Birds are very particular about what they warm up too - no fault of the company that make these. It's a good product and the delivery was fine. I took this apart and used the beads to make a hanging toy, which they liked okay.

Pessima altalena, decisamente non adatta a inseparabili. Troppo grande e molto poco robusta. Legno di appoggio troppo piccolo e liscio, il pappagallo scivola. Volta di filo metallico davvero instabile. Unica nota positiva sono le biglie di legno anche se alcune in pessime condizioni. Un gioco homemade è sicuramente migliore.

Troppo sottile l'appoggio , i miei uccellini hanno rotto quella prima che era 1 cm di spessore , questa è mezzo cm figuriamoci quanto sarebbe durata , restituita
