Dura Faucet DF-NMK852-SN RV Pull-Out Swivel Single Handle Kitchen Sink Faucet - One-Hole (Brushed Satin Nickel)

Easy to install, fits perfectly, works great!

I haven't installed this faucet into my travel trailer kitchen sink yet but it seems to be made very well and it will be a pleasure to use. I just wish the faucet would swivel from one sink to the next rather than simply tilt one way or the other. I'm hoping that works better than my mind is able to imagine.

A good faucet for the price - the swivel is easy and goes about 110 degrees and the faucet is fairly easy to install (not sure why some complain about difficulties). Some annoyances:1) SLOW WATER FLOW IF UNMODIFIED. Installed as it came, the water flow was rather awful, so I removed one of the flow regulators (the one in the spray hose where it connects to the faucet) and the water flow improved tremendously. There is a second flow regulator where the spray hose attaches to the spray head (you can easily unscrew the spray hose from the spray head), which has a far lesser impact on water flow (so you can take out one or both regulators according to your preference).2) AUTOMATIC RESET OF SPRAY HEAD SETTING. For some reason the designer thought it a good idea to have the spray head automatically reset to "stream" whenever you turn off the faucet. It's actually a terrible idea - rule number one of user interface design is not to change a user's setting!

We bought the Dura Faucet DF-NMK852-SN RV Pull-Out Swivel Kitchen Sink Faucet (Brushed Satin Nickel) to replace the leaking faucet in our galley. The quality of the product is excellent. Camper van galley areas are far more compact than most RV configurations, so we were seeking a replacement whose intake shank fit the existing opening of 1 3/8" but also provided a bit more range by being a pull-out. It was difficult to find the shank specifications from the Amazon site, but further research at the manufacturing site provided greater installation details. We still had to route the opening slightly in order to install the faucet. For future buyers of this specific faucet, the opening should be closer to 1 1/2" and the area below the opening, where the 'nut' screws onto the intake shank, needs to be between 1 1/2" and 2" (or more so you can get your hand in there!). The pull-out hose is longer than we would have liked (close to 5') since storage under the sink is so compact but we're hoping the additional convenience at the sink top will balance out that small annoyance.

I installed this on my boat. Access to the area under the sink was limited, and I found that the short hoses on this unit presented a problem on installation, which I didn't have with a previous faucet with longer hoses coming out.After buying different connectors, longer hoses, and prezeling my arms into the space, I was able to make it work.It is clearly good quality, and I expect many years of service from it.There are no instructions in the box, only a sheet describing web site to go to for installation details. Fortunately, I didn't need it.

This is a nice compact faucet. It functions well, at least as tested after installation. The only thing that takes the rating down is that the instructions and specifications are not very good. The specifications said that the connection to the water supply line was 3/8th" but it is 1/2". Not a big deal but I went to the hardware store before the arrival and had to exchange the supply lines for the correct 1/2" fittings. Wasted time. The instructions don't give the diameter of the hole for the installation, nor do they show the correct configuration for installation without the cover plate or the sequence of the various rings and washers that are needed in the installation, depending on whether the cover plate is used or not. I drilled a 1 1/2" hole based on a measurement of the mounting post with calipers and it worked out fine, but if one doesn't have them and has to buy a hole saw of the right size, it's yet another trip to the hardware store.

The media could not be loaded.  I understand this faucet is intended for use in an RV. I installed it in my kitchen because our new shutters would not clear my old faucet. I needed a faucet which was short enough so I can open the shutters.All is well with the faucet. The one disappointment is the flow rate. But the flow rate was listed so I knew there could be an issue.Updated after about two years.We were never pleased with this faucet. The longer we had this the less we liked it.The flow rate was slow, slower than what is listed in the product listing. I did measure this once but I don't remember what the measured rate was.The paint or finish on the base plate started to come off. The included video does show this.The selection between normal flow and spray never worked very well. Sometimes it took several presses to get the desired selection.It was short enough to clear the new shutters on the window above the sink. Other than this one feature we were not happy with this.Did I mention the very slow flow rate?

This is a very well built faucet, but Dura Faucet sucks for help after purchase. Product was missing parts. I called Dura Faucet for a replacement part and they told me that since I didn’t buy the faucet from an authorized distributor, which I did, they couldn’t help me. I gave them my Amazon order number, sent a screen shot of my purchase and the girl from DF confirmed that I did in fact buy from an authorized distributor. She still wouldn’t help me because she couldn’t see the order in her system. I had the faucet and sent her picture proof and she still wouldn’t help me. It was just the nut that holds the sink in place! I wasn’t asking for a new faucet…just all the parts to install it! Silly me. Asking for what I paid for. Anyway, faucet was really nice, but DF warranty and people….not so great! If you like warranty service….don’t buy this product!

The media could not be loaded.  Faucet is nice. Hot and cold water lines are stupidly short. Pull out faucet line is stupidly long. And one major complaint I gave is the faucet line rubs horribly against the inner section. Not sure how I’m going to fix that yet. Watch video.

Great product, solid feel and looks great! Two months of steady use in our RV and is holding up.

We were very pleased! The true test will be in the spring when we pull out the trailer and put it in.
