not “universal”
make sure you measure the width of your seat hand rails against the width of this spreader. it isn’t universal as posted. i had to cut off 3/4” from each end and reweld the brackets to make it fit. Part of that is my fault for not reading everything. A picture with the dimensions would be helpful for future buyers

Did not fit Steeleng rear seat
Everything was shipped fine. It was just 1 1/2" too wide.
