I got this set because I needed to do some wiring work on a hot tub connector and for work on my motorcycles. I had with low expectations as the set was pretty cheap. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the individual tools work and how many different styles are included. The tools are NOT heavy duty so you need to be gentle with them, but they do the job!

If you're looking for a terminal removal tool set, you know what you probably need so I won't belabor the point too much. This kit comes with a variety of pin extractors so you will probably find one that fits the bill. The case is a nice addition though in truth it's a bit useless. The tools are functional though if you're in specialized pin removal land, you might find these a bit lacking. If you're looking to repin some computer cables or something like that, this will work for most modern electronics. Luckily there are enough duplicates where if something isn't quite there, a belt sander and some care will probably get you where you need to be. At the end of the day it's like $10 - it is what it is and can make your life a bit easier that trying to wedge a flat blade screwdriver in the connector.

These come as you see them in the ad. They are linked together in several sets. Many duplicates which may be handy as these are thin metal that may bend or break. They came in a nice hard case. I am satisfied with my purchase.

I bought these to remove some pins from a molex connector. With 76 pieces in the kit I have no idea how a guy would find the right one, or know if the one they needed is in the 76 piece set or one of the larger ones and they're not marked so it's trial and error. But this kit had the one I wanted, or at least one that worked.By necessity these things are pretty thin so be careful with them. But they're essential for getting pins out of connectors.

Hey,I see you eyeing these. I see that you notice the top reviews of this product praising this item. Listen, I know the allure. It's cheap, it's not that bad, it's a full set!76pcs is a lot of pieces I assure you. I thought the same thing, it will helpful to have a full set of many different extractors for different occasions. Unless you want the want the same occasion to be Ground Hogs day sure, its the same key set repeated. Even one set was just the same thing duplicated.But fine fine I see you think "then they'll be little less sturdy that's why it's multiple pieces" then you'll actually use them; realize that the metal is soft. And like a cat with pet aggression it will attack you.It'll break, snap, cut you deep like the buyer's remorse that begins to settle in.Listen, save yourself, ignore the reviews you can do better. You deserve so much more than the pain and suffering that you'll come across using these.

The media could not be loaded.  Ignore the reviews that call them weak of flimsy. If you have to put excessive force on them, you are using them incorrectly. See my attached video. They are very stout considering how small they are. I've had the Lisle terminal tools for 12 years now and these are every bit as strong. Besides, its $10 for 3 sets. You'll have to missuse them 3 times before it's a problem

Does what they are supposed to do.

This set requires mechanical aptitude. It's not as easy is simply sticking the tool in the connector joint. You have to look at how the connector locks into the plastic shell, choose a tool that should work, and after a few tries it will. Sometimes considerable force is required to separate the terminal from the shell.I have been working with these types of connectors for 20 years. To me, this set is a god-send. It saves so much time not having to cut off terminals and crimp on new ones. I have 12 fans I recently acquired at a rock-bottom price.But the connectors were pinned incorrectly. On each fan I had to move 1 of the pins. That would have been a nightmare-and-a-half without the tools in this set. But I had some idea of how the interlock works. Without that knowledge, I might not have gotten far.However, this set offers the greatest hope of separating terminals from plastic connectors. For the fans, I had to bend one of the tools to get it to work. So, if you need to do this type of work, it might be difficult at first, but there is nothing available to make it any easier.Terminal manufacturers want to sell terminals and connector bodies. They don't want users to take them apart and use them over again. So, they offer no such tools. If you don't understand this review, you don't need this product.
