National Geographic Kids Explorer Academy: The Tiger's Nest (Book 5)

I bought this book for my grandson, who loved it. He likes all the Explorer Academy books.

My 12 year old nephew and I have been enjoying this series over the past 6 months. We just received book 5 which I read last night (I "devour" them before we read the book together). Now I'm wondering when the next volume will be released! The characters are well developed. The story is well written and certainly keeps the attention of both of us. The science, geography, and history imbedded in the story is educational and interesting. According to my nephew, the books would make a great movie! I'm just not sure I can wait 6 months or more for the next book -- and haven't seen any indication the 6th book is near publication. I actually thought Book 5 was going to be the end (it was advertised as "book 5 of 5") but certainly not where it left off when I turned the last page last night. I'm not sure how my nephew will react to the death of one of the characters in Book 5 -- it "hurt" throughout the rest my reading. However, death is real and needs to be dealt with.

We love this book series. We learn about real places around the world as we read. My son & I read this together so we have something to discuss about how much we liked or disliked something, what we think will happen next, etc. can’t wait to keep reading!

Awesome next book. Cruz amd the gang are in it to win it. The mysteries get deeper and the intensity ramps up. An awesome read!!

I read every night to my boys and we LOVE this series and can't wait for the next book to come out.!!They are in high school and we are keeping our little tradition just for this series, we love the true facts woven into the story. My boys will look up places or animals we've read about the next day and tell me all about them.
