Q: What is the expiration date on these batteries?

I just received the box of 9V batteries on Jan-5, 2018. The "use before" date is March 2022. The box is labeled "Made in China" in fine print on the bottom of the box; and each battery is individually labeled "Made in China" on the side. A previous box I purchased in summer 2015 were dated "use before Mar-2019" and labeled "Assembled in USA".

Q: Can these Procell batteries be used to replace regular 9 volt batteries?

Yes, they are standard 9 volt batteries. They are just the professional grade Duracell.

Q: Does it say anywhere on the battery how many milliamp hours (capacity) it has?

The spec sheet doesn't say that number outright. However, if you use a 5v useable voltage cutoff (which they do in the data sheet), the battery will go 310 Hours at 2ma (620mAh), and at 10ma it will go 60h (600mAh). So there ya go. However, if you're using a 9V, your circuit probably needs at least 7V to run, so keep that in mind while choosing capacity.

Q: Can I use these in my smoke detectors? How long will they last for? Do they have an expiration date?!

For anyone researching the same question now, I purchased these in late-December 2015 with a March 2020 use-by date to replace the backup batteries in all 10 of my hardwired First Alert Smoke-Carbon Monoxide (Model 9120B) detectors. It's mid-April 2018 and I was just awoken in the middle of the night by one of the detectors chirping a low battery warning. They lasted almost 2 years and 4 months.
