I was repairing a laptop using these gloves. I made sure I was grounded before doing anything, but I still had a zap hit me with these gloves on.However, it only happened once, and there was no noticeable damage.

They fit will and so far have prevented any electronics damage from static electricity. I wear them and use an anti static strap because I'm working with very static sensitive computer boards for the 80s and 90s. These gloves are not very durable, though. Be careful not to snag them on pins on the back side of boards.
