So my 15 year old son was wanting a globe. Ok got him a globe. This Globe of the world with the stand and an internal light is amazing. It is so easy to read with or without the light on. The light is just an added plus on it. The globe is a beautiful antique look which I love. After getting the globe for my son's room my daughters quickly realized they needed the same exact one for their room as well. In the end we now have two beautiful, lit, easy to read globes in the house. ❤ 🌎

This globe is very attractive, when the light is turned on. It appears to be well made and all functions work good. It is a bit small and, therefore, a little hard to read. But this is a gift for my 10 year old grandson and his eyes will have no problem! I like this globe very much.

For the price I'm very impressed. The stand quality is excelent, and it has a soft base thar's perfect for the glass surface I placed it on.The globe itsefl is OK, but it's not the one from the pictures. Mine is more yellow, and has no antique references on it, like ships, monsters, or compass rose. And that's a shame becaus I'm into old maps as you can say from the picture.I didnt lower to 4 stars because it's overall a good purchase
