Great product, the best value for the money.

I purchased this shredder in 2022 and have been very happy with it. I recently had an issue where the shredder blades would only run on reverse, and would not accept a piece of paper on shred feature. I contacted the company on email (Vidatech.com) and received an immediate response. The Service Team was so very helpful and attentive with my issue until it was resolved. I was so grateful to have been able to still use the shredder without having to purchase a new one. Also, I was impressed with the level of customer service, considering that I had contacted two other companies about questions on products and never received a reply to my several inquiries. I recommend this product and company to others.

Amazon has had to intervene here with the manufacturer. I'm waiting for a reply within 72 hours.I have had this shredder for just over a year (purchased on 5/25/24). My previous shredder lasted for over 10 years and it was a cheaper one, so I obviously know how to use a paper shredder correctly, empty it at the appropriate time, not let it overfill, not put too many pages or the wrong items in it, etc. Today, I merely emptied it, tried to activate it from the "off" switch and it's completely dead. I tried other working electrical outlets and still nothing. Then I tried phoning the company (VidaTeco) for support, using the product support phone number listed, and got a "this is no longer a working number." The link to their webpage is also dead.I don't expect ANY shredder to die in slightly over a year. I spent $80.05 on this with tax. Absolutely unacceptable quality. My suspicion is that the motor just died. The fact that you can't even reach the manufacturer is equally troubling.

This printer so far has worked great! It really does shred 14 sheets of paper although I bought this just for my home computer room. I bought this one for the price and the size of container(the bucket is large.) and the handle on the actual shredder so you can actually lift the shredder out of the bucket and gently knock off loose paper into bucket and not onto floor when I empty it. Which is nicer than trying to hold a shredder with no handles with a small bucket and emptying it.

I used this product 1 time. I tried 2 days later and still does not work. It is supposed to shred 14 sheets at a time and it is so narrow you can not shred 14 sheets. So I would like to return and change to a differentBrand name.
