I’m a hairstylist and this is my favorite styling paste for short or razor-cut styles that need separation for styling out hair.

I would like to give this a 3 1/2 stars. It has a playable sticky quality out of the container, like many products. When I apply more to my pixie, my hair feels thick and it doesn’t make my hair workable like I thought it would. It just isn’t working for MY hair. Many like it. I will use it here and there to see if it changes my mind with my style changes. I do like the size (got the smaller one). The scent is minimal. It is worth trying to see if it works for you. The small one has more in it than you would think. I wish all hair products had sizes to choose from because everyone’s hair responds differently.

No matter how little I used on my short, fine hair, it was like applying vaseline to my hair. It made it look instantly greasy & dirty. I literally used maybe 1/4th of a dime-sized amount & rubbed it into my hands before applying. I applied it lightly. It was awful. This was not a product for me! I tried maybe half a dozen texturizing sprays & waxes to add some texture to my straight hair. The best BY FAR was Kenra's Dry Texture Spray 6. I'm in love. Rather than having helmet hair, my hair has a full, piece-y look & plenty of texture. It makes my hair look great all day.
