Ancor Marine Grade Duplex and Triplex Wire

The item was advertised as a 100 foot roll. I only got 89 feet. I was shorted 11 feet of wire.

Great wire, use it on my dump trailers. Duplex or triplex it suits the needs of hard working equipment. Haven't had any corrosion issue to date due to its tin coating. Not my 1st purchase of Anchor wire. Yep, its marine wire and colors dont quite match up to original trailer wire, but I usually rewire entire trailer anyway. Most trailer wire is not sheathed, so that is the reason I use Anchor marine wire. Less chance of chaffing into a short. But this shipment came UPS dumb post. Box was drop kicked and rolled, at least it appears that way. So plastic spool was broke in two. Not a huge issue but didn't work so well on wire rack.5 stars for Anchor and its product. -1star for busted reel, (UPS dumb post)

The jacket can be easily scored and peeled with a utility knife. It's real tinned copper inside to conduct well and resist corrosion. The insulation is decently strong, flexible, and resists abrasion. The stranding is not too fine, which is good - you don't get loose strands when inserting to screw terminals or crimp connectors.I'm using it in my RV for add-on circuits which run underneath, where they may be exposed to sunlight, oil, and water. Time will tell how well it holds up, but this cable is UL-listed to handle all of those.

Awesome stuff! I use this for my house surround sound speaker wiring here in Hawaii as anything copper or even aluminum will degrade within a year. I can install this stuff permanently and know that it will last indefinitely. Ancor marine wiring is a lifesaver for so many applications. We use this on the boat as well for speaker and power wire and it holds up like a fortress to the elements. Highly recommended.

I bought the 100' reel of 16-2 for my boat's branch wiring and I find it to be of the highest quality compared to the original equipment, and its an absolute pleasure to work with. The conductors are fine and take solder or crimping beautifully, and the white jacket is upscale in appearance and clean and impressive, if you look in the wiring compartments. Very pleased overall and the 100' reel gave me good economy, better than I could find elsewhere. Look no further...

The round wire appears to be very well protected and I expect it to last a very long time in a marine invironment. Because of the large fiber reinforcement core, the outside diameter is a bit larger than I expected but that's OK. I know that's going to make the cable last much longer. My only minor complaint is the the wire spool only has thin paper side pieces, not plastic, to keep the 100' of cable on the reel. When I received the cable, the side pieces of the reel were bent back which allowed the cable coils to come off the reel in the shipping box.

This wire will be used both inside and outside my travel trailer to wire up some exterior speakers. The wire is well made and has the feel of nm cable, though a must smaller gauge than residential wiring. Pulling the wire through my trailer worked very well as the covering of this wire is smooth. I have roughly 33 ft of wiring for each speaker and they sound great.The only thing I wish is that this wire had measurements printed on it, as I was pulling two runs I had to first approximate the length and then pull them together.

Excellent quality marine wire. The single jacket makes fishing the wires extremely easy. The tinned strands provide fantastic corrosion resistance. Combine this with a solid soldered joint and adhesive lined heat shrink tubing and you'll have a connection better and more durable than what 80% of people make.
