These look very nice but be CAREFUL when & where you open the box! LOTS of sharp glass shards & dust in the box and the bag. I had to vacuum my concrete patio to get them picked up...confirmed my neighbors assumption that I am a neat freak 🤷🏼‍♀️

Received in good condition, jar was not open or broken like other reviews. But I could see how this could easily happen. Nice color of glass, cosmetically I liked it. But beware that it is not a well polished product. A lot of exposed sharp edges. Several pieces were not fully broken up and when it did break it there were small shards of sharp glass. The description of the product says “no dust” but there was plenty dust at the bottom of the container. If you’re using this in a fireplace it may be okay but if you’re planning on using this outside in an area around a pool where ppl could be barefoot on concrete I would be concerned about the glass. Also the 1/2 inch thickness was not uniform. Several small pieces 1/4 inch or smaller.

Fire glass is expensive because of the heat it can handle. It has maintained its color for many fires. But you must keep it dust free or it will leave a film on the glass. It is easy to scoop out and wash but is time consuming. I wound up buying a cover for the fire pit so no more washing chipped glass.

I bought this product to place under my artificial logs in my outdoor gas’s fireplace to enhance the overall look of ashes fallen from the logs and add sparkle to the fire.

Got this to replace the generic teal fire glass that came with my fire table… And I am so glad I did! The reflective surfaces completely changes the ambience of the fire. Although the product is for half inch pieces, expect the majority of the glass to be much smaller due to breakage
