Ikea.. Ikea Polyester Lennart Drawer Unit, White (34 X 30 X 56 Cm)(Rectangular)

Another quality product from Ikea. I have 2 of these kept it in my office for computer gadgets, books and hardware.Its easy to assemble and can be done within 30 minutes if you have a flow in DIY things.Nice white color and packaging. Sturdiness is not that much, but can take quite a lot. I have been using it from last 6 months plus and no issues there. I have kept diaries, computer cables, speakers etc in them. Just don't stuff it with heavy stuff(like more than 4-6 kg) as that might create bend or even break it furthermore.

It is not very tough, but it will get the job done. Can't hold lot of heavy stuff but fine for office use.

It's easy to assemble. Yes very good looking , height is small though but it's cute. It's best used for bedside table. Or in a kid's room to keep art supplies or anything. The height is hardly 2ft so a tall person like me would get easily irritated to pick things out of the drawers.But I won't mind buying it to gift to someone for housewarming or a kid for his birthday present. It's fun to assemble .. looks more like a happy Sunday activity.Bachelor's can keep this in their room to keep all those headphones, chargers, keys, takeout brochures, coupons , bills etc etcCan be used for keeping Mandir stuffCan be used near the door to keep socks and some tools for daily day use.

This product is absolutely bad design and very bad build quality. The costing is extremely high. Let me explain all the aspect of this product.DIY difficulties: It is claimed to be a DIY product. To some extent it is. It is 11 step process and up to step 6 is pretty simple straight forward. The challenge starts from step seven where the metal sheet has to be bent with precision. 1 or 2 mm away could mis align the holes through which fastening clips are to be inserted for clamping. I had tough time in managing this and I had to spend good ½ hour to get the precise bending point right. I wish the product designer made a marking or engraved a notch for perfect bending.I do not understand the logic behind making the end customer to bend. Probably to save package volume and associated transport cost?The fastening clips are not strong enough the product requires 24 such clips (2 spares are given). It is also a one time use and if wrongly used, it is difficult to remove. The clip has two portions (a pin like part and a crown) if pressed wrongly, it get locked using a nose player. I discovered it in a hard way. They could have easily given screws or nuts& bolts. There would be hardly any cost difference.Design and usability:The product description did not provide drawer dimension and it could have helped me with better understanding. It mentions that it A4 sheets can be stored. A packet of 500 A4 sheets, there no space around the packet to conveniently place and pick few sheets when needed. It is very cramped for A4 sheet packet.The drawer itself is very shaky and can be easily damaged or twisted and in the process, the fastening clips could also snap off. Very poor build quality and faulty design.The drawer slides on metal channel. There is excess play and many times the drawer could get stuck in the middle due to angular push or pull.There is no stopper and if due care is not taken, the drawer could come out and fall on the floor or could even cause injury. In that process, the drawer itself could damaged (flimsy design)There is no handle or knob or notch to pull or push.There is large space at the bottom where another drawer could be easily be provisioned. I still wonder why such a space at the bottom is provided.It has nice little wheels on the back side and one would be wondering the reason for providing wheels only on the back side? It is such a light weight product and can well be managed without wheel. Any design thoughts that I am missing?Costing:This is such a bad product, that it does not worth 1986. It has design flaws, functionality expectation mismatch, inferior build quality and not an easy DIY product.My opinion. The product is not worth more than Rs 900. Rs 300 for the product + Rs 300 for IKEA brand + Rs 150 Transport + 150 Profit.I want to give ZERO rating. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

IKEA products are very good as always. The price is a bit high in Amazon compared to IKEA, which is justified because IKEA doesn't deliver at my place.

The overall aesthetics of this item is very impressive I should say but when it comes to the service provided by it and the cost of the money, it’s not worth it. The product is very ordinary and it barely holds my stationeries. Also, the drawers does not have a support so the whole drawer comes off if you open it with a little force and also sometimes the drawers falls off on its own. Nevertheless, it’s quite easy to assemble once you get the hang of it, however, the drawer is not sturdy at all for holding weight also because the nuts provided to fasten and hold the side of drawers is mere plastic. This has not been my best buy from Amazon so I wouldn’t recommend the product though it’s an aesthetically pleasing item for home showpiece.

The product is good and was very easy to assemble. The delivery date was changed couple of times and the product took forever to be delivered. Overall happy with the product. It is a genuine IKEA product.

The product is nice looking looking and easy to assemble. However it is not sturdy and the drawers cannot hold much weight . I am using it for the moment but do not expect it to last long. If i had a choice i would have returnedit. Unfortunately the terms of the purchase allowed replacement but not return.
