Can’t complain, does the trick, flavor is surprisingly very good & it’s not chewy (thanks to the technology of freeze drying). Great for camping. My only complaint is there’s a lot more cubed up stems than florets, but at least they are not chewy. Value for what you’re getting. I live in a rural, mountainous area, running to the store is planned & not on a whim, - having this in the pantry & tasting this good is a nice option (especially in the winter). It says the shelf life is “up to 30 years “ so I just wait for the sales which fits my budget & stock up. Have to admit, this is very convenient to have on hand, rehydrates fast, the prep work is done & tastes remarkably good - throwing a bit in my rice more often now.

I bought this product for long term preparation and while it’s not fresh or frozen in quality it will provide the nutritional benefits when need be.

Although you will need water if you want to have soft broccoli this is a great way to store a perishable product.If you need or want a little broccoli, there it is, right in your pantry!

Good value for money

Overall, I’m pleased but my reactions are mixed. What I didn’t like is that a lot of the tiny floret tips fell off when the broccoli was soaking. I tested a small amount but it was impossible to transfer the entire rehydrated batch into another container for my salad. The tips stuck to the container. There was no way I was going to rinse it as the instructions stated. More tips would fall off. So much wasted already. I was hoping the florets would stay intact. This is my one disappointment. It hydrated real quick so maybe I’ll try for less than 5 minutes. It would be good for soups but not a salad unless you don’t mind wasting a lot of the tips. I ended up gently rinsing a small amount before soaking. I stored it in the fridge right after. From my pic you can see what happenedEverything else was fine. Good mixture of pieces. Vacuumed packet well. Be sure to have a reliable can opener ready. Another good point is you’ll have broccoli when you need it and it won’t turn color or spoil. I’d buy again but not for the regular price. My image shows the tiny floret tips after I took out the pieces I wanted.

These rehydrate very well and keep their shape. There is a lot of broccoli flavor too. The normal expected broccoli dust in the bottom that you end up getting in cans like this you can make a chedder broccoli soup or something similar with it.

Great Storage Life, Great for Fast Meals, Augason Farms Quality!

This brand sells many items and many people buy for long term storage in case if disaster, SO they are tough to open even with a good handheld can opener and SHOULD BE sealed pull tab open containers in my opinion in case you end up without a can opener.A pull top seal would be efficient and safer.Very delicious broccoli though, this is my second can now. Keeping one for storage and one active to eat for dinner with my proteins.
