Worked perfectly! I must admit I was apprehensive in ordering this as I wasn’t sure I would be able to change the maintenance box even though the video made it look easy. I’ve heard such horror stories about how you have to go in and take the printer apart that I just didn’t believe it would be that easy but it was. You press the release button, slide the box a little to the left and lift it out. They even include a bag for the old filled maintenance box so that you don’t get ink everywhere.Inserting the new box was just as simple, insert it and slide it to the right and you’re done.!!!!!I wish everything could be this simple. I highly recommend this product and company. The quality for the money is excellent.

I purchased an Epson 8550 printer in January of 2024. I converted the printer to a sublimation printer. Between my local craft fairs and my crafting for gifts and such, I use it quite often. The other day, I received a message on my printer that said my maintenance box was at "end of life" and needed to be changed. I had never received a message like that on any of my other printers. Checking online indicated that I could get it from Amazon. I ordered it yesterday and received overnight shipping. The unit was easy to change (via a YouTube video) and fit perfectly. The print quality improved after doing a print head and power cleaning. My sublimations are now printing with vibrant colors after the sub process.

I don't know why, but the printer just didn't recognize these the first couple of time I tried to install them. I'm not fully sure what I did, but on the third try it started working.
