This is a simple to use car window tint meter that measures visible light, infrared and ultraviolet transmission.It requires four AAA batteries, which are NOT included, and does include a small carrying pouch.Turning it on, it self-calibrates, then displays that it is ready to work by showing "100 0.0 0.0" on the screen. There is a bunch of Chinese on the case, I have no idea what it is supposed to say - I assume it is what each number is reading out?To use, you simply put it over the window of a car. It reads instantly, at which point you can press the power/hold button which will lock in the reading, and you can remove it from the window.In my test, I used it on windows tinted to 35%.
