Blades are spinning again
I was having trouble with the mower deck not always spinning on my John Deere E110 and with the main bracket being welded that a lot of other people are able to slide to adjust I gave this a shot. I haven’t mowed the lawn with it yet, but did engage the blades and they started spinning right away. As of now I think this worked.

Works Great on D100
Installed and have used once already to cut the grass. It worked great and there seems to be no issues.

For D130, broke after approx 90 min of use!
Cut the grass last Tuesday (1/3 acre) & this belt was kind of squeaky each time I engaged it but only for 1-2 seconds. I kept checking to make sure it wasn’t hitting anything, just to be sure I didn’t miss tightening something down, but everything was tight & it was routed properly so I just kept going. Got 20 minutes in to a time-sensitive cut (just 6 days later) before major storms rolled in last night, and this belt snapped. I was left with just the front yard—the part all my neighbors see—only about 1/5 of the way done and clouds rolling in. After the squeals last week, I had decided to keep the original belt as a backup since it didn’t look bad. (Had to replace steering components so I figured I’d just replace the belt & blades & grease the fittings while I had the whole deck off.) I’m glad I kept the original! I pulled the sockets & wrenches back out, dropped the deck down to the lowest setting, and managed to put the original belt back on in about 20 minutes. Finished cutting in the dark (glad for headlights) just in time & with zero problems & not a single squeal out of the old belt. I’m not sure if I got a faulty belt, if it’s just not meant for my particular serial number (which I leaned makes a difference in the steering parts too! Not all D130s have the same steering plate), but there was definitely something not right about this. It already looked more worn after the first cut than the original looked after 160 hours of use, and it snapped on the 2nd cut. We have a decently lush lawn, not rocky and I pick up any small twigs before cutting so it’s not a rough area at all. I just can’t figure out WHY this belt didn’t seem right from the beginning, causing me to stop the mower several times and confirm it wasn’t hitting anything. I will be ordering another aftermarket belt to see if I hand better luck, but I cannot recommend this one, sorry. I’m really disappointed. It was a terrible value, maybe defective (?) or maybe not actually meant for the D130 (although I did hold it up to the original before installing it & it was the same length, shape & thickness so I don’t know), and for longevity I’d give it negative stars if I could. I’m normally happy with my Amazon purchases & I check reviews carefully before buying, so it’s very rare for me to leave a negative review. I’d love to ask for a refund, but I don’t have an option to contact the seller about this order. I was frustrated last night just because it broke when I wanted to hurry, I didn’t want to leave my yard partially cut before a huge storm, nor was I happy about this brand new belt breaking and me having to rush to put the old one back on to finish the job, but I’m at least glad I got the whole yard done before the thunderstorm hit. Lessons here: if it squeals when you first engage the blades, plan on it breaking soon. Also, if your old belt isn’t in bad shape & you’re just replacing it as part of timely maintenance, I encourage you to hang onto it as a back up. It saved me from further frustration and no one had to deal with my eyesore (partially cut yard) while I waited for another new belt to arrive.I will try the return/refund option, just to see if there’s a way to ask for a refund, but if your D130 steering rack has 20+ teeth (not 19, like many products have which say they fit the D130) maybe this belt doesn’t fit your well either. I can’t think of any other explanation. I hope no one else has this experience. (The third photo was after only the FIRST cut. This belt has a material-type cover which showed this wear after just an hour of use. *This* is what prompted me to pull the original belt out of the trash & hang onto it.) I don’t believe it stretched out. Maybe there was some slippage happening? Everything was tight, though, so I’m not sure why it would do this unless it’s the material of the belt itself which doesn’t grip as well. I’ll be sure to order one that doesn’t have any sort of fabric-type cover on it. If all else fails, I’ll order OEM. Disappointed in this one, though.)
