Read The PDF Manual: ACTIVATE THE STRAW!
My wife and I were so close to giving this 3 stars until I read the pdf manual in the description. A lot of complaints about the straw being difficult, which it is initially. The manual says to "activate the straw, by squeezing the valve in the upper part of the straw. Doing so made it so much easier to drink from. It still had resistance, it is spill proof, but it's a lot easier.Other than that, works as advertised. Kid loves it. Easier to clean than other similar cups on the market. Will being buying more when #2 is old enough.

Tried and True — Great Sippy Cups for Growing Toddlers
As a parent of three, I can confidently say the Munchkin Any Angle Sippy Cups are a must-have. All of my kids have used these, and they’ve made independent drinking so much easier. The weighted straw design really does let toddlers sip from any angle — whether they're sitting up, leaning back, or tipping the cup. It helps reduce spills and frustration, especially during the transition from bottles.Bottom line: Easy to use, easy to clean, and toddler-approved — a great choice for any parent looking for reliable sippy cups.

New sippy cup alert
First of all, two sippy cups for 8 bucks?? please and thank you. I bought these because my one-year-old boy has always refused to drink from a traditional bottle with a nipple. I bought him a blue one when we needed a cup for him to drink from on a trip when I forgot one of his, and my two-year-old girl began to drink from it as well. We are in the process of trying to wean her from bottles and finding something she's comfortable going to bed with if she needs to that isn't a bottle has been a struggle. I looked over one day, and for the first time saw her reclined in our bed with her tablet, sipping from this cup. I immediately bought her own. I gave my purple baby her new sippy cup and gave the other pink one to her cousin who is six months older than her. It worked for her as well, and surprisingly my niece was immediately weaned onto this sippy cup as her new "baba". We are still working on weaning my toddler lol, but let's get into the specifics. It's designed well - the lid has a cover built in (I hate having to keep track of a bottle cap to keep bottles from leaking) that's actually a good learning mechanism for the kiddos to learn how to slide forwards and backwards. I wouldn't say it cleans the easiest: the only thin straw brush that will fit is the one that comes with it, so just make sure you don't lose it, or you'll have a hard time cleaning the straw without purchasing a specifically thin one. The lid clicks on audibly when it's secure, which makes traveling with it a breeze. NO LEAKING!! It seems to be one of the most comfortable sippy cups I've used for my kiddos, and I think that's because of the thin straws and the sippy cup handles. It's lightweight as well, and the plastic seems to be durable enough I don't foresee having any issues with them breaking. Definitely a good purchase on all accounts, and if they ever lose their current ones, you can best believe I'll be buying them new ones immediately!

Great cup, hard to clean
My baby loves these cups. She learned to drink though a straw using them. I love the lock lid as she throws them all the time and hardly ever makes a mess. I do find though that sometimes the lid can be hard to twist on and lock into place. My biggest complained is that the straw is VERY hard to clean. You HAVE to use the tiny pipe cleaner provided so be sure not to lose it! The straw has a seal in it so that the water doesn't spill out and so it's impossible to simply run water through the straw. All in all it's a great cup. It can just be a little challenging to clean

These are amazing for the price!
I handed this to my 7 month old who has never had anything besides a bottle and she grabbed it with both hands and immediately figured out how to use the straw! These are so easy for baby’s to use. The weighted bottom is great because no matter how my baby holds it the straw stays where the water is. The quality is also great for the price. There’s no need to spend $20 on a single cup when this two pack is just as great. It is also spill proof and easy to clean.

Leaky cups; not great for toddlers
When my child was first learning to drink through a straw, these were great. Grabbing the handles was easy for her small hands and the "any angle" straw feature allowed her to get the drink no matter how she held the cup. Well, six months later we'd completely given up on these cups and gotten a bunch of Contigo Autospout cups instead. These LEAK so easily! Once your kid starts shaking them and turning them upside down, you are probably going to want to give up on these. They also are hard to predict when put into a diaper bag, even with the "flap" closed down over the straw. They leaked on me multiple times--and when opening the flap so the straw snapped back up, they would sometimes spurt liquid everywhere due to pressurization in the bottle. Additionally, you have to be diligent about pulling the straw out to run water through it even if you otherwise clean the cups in the dishwasher. It is too small a straw to count on it getting clean without extra attention. My last issue is that these are challenging to drink out of. You have to suck pretty powerfully to extract the liquid. I have five or six of these but they just sit in a cupboard now.
