the actuation point is very great and the keybkard feels very high quality and the typing mode that you can switch to is very helpful when im typing. Also very great for gaming. I love this keyboard and its a great alternative if you can’t afford thr apex pro.

it was expensive. there's no doubt about that.the customization is amazing tho. I made it so that the bottom right 4 keys are the arrow keys. that way I don't have to press the "meta layer" button in order to access them.-the only thing I dislike isn't even the keyboard's fault, but a fault in the steelseries gg software. it doesn't carry over custom profiles across different PCs.

The keyboard is overall pretty good, its BUILD QUALITY is great, the SWITCHES are very smooth to press down, and the keyboard is very VERY easy to customize (it easier to customize than a Razer keyboard), its also not too expensive, going down in price very frequently.My problem with this keyboard is the misleading advertising. The keyboard claims it has hot swappability which is true until you realize it is only hot swappable with 2 other switches made by the same company (steelseries themselves, you can't swap out for cherry mx or gateron switches). When you search on the internet if the apex 9 mini has rapid trigger steelseries themselves claims it does have rapid trigger butinreality the keyboard does not have rapid trigger as shown by the software (steelseries.gg). another con with this keyboard is just how bad the software is, steelseries.gg is the worst software I have ever used on a keyboard I prefer to use razer synapse than this garbage.If you can find the razer huntsman mini analog on sale then I would go for that instead of the apex 9 mini. But if you can't find it on sale or you just don't care much about rapid trigger and analog switches then the apex 9 mini is a good option, or another option beside this would be the highground trailblazer keyboard.

I’ve had this keyboard for about a year now and it’s really good. I use to use the razer huntsman mini.Pros: I really like the software, coming from the razer synapses software. The steel series software allowed you to make macros and change between using left or right windows keys which is sooo much better than razer. It also dosent impact start up. I also like the really convenient keycap remover that comes in the keyboard, makes it really easy to clean.

The media could not be loaded. Great keyboard, it sounds and feels good. Has some cool rgb. It looks a lot better if you get the prismcaps to go with it like I did.
