Sturdy, tall, fits with my grow lights
I bought some grow lights that were the only lights I could find with the specifications I needed, but the stand they came with literally collapsed under the weight of the light. Completely useless. This stand is solid, taller than the original stand, and perfect for my needs. I thought I would need an thread adapter to get the lights on this stand, but happily I didn't. The lights fit this stand perfectly and my Meyer Lemon is finally getting the light it wants!

Better than expected.
I bought a couple of LED panels for location video shoots and the stands were too short. I purchased these fully expecting to return them. But, to my pleasant surprise, the quality and sturdiness of these stands impressed me. And the carry bag is equally good.

Decent for the money...but not really heavy duty
First and foremost, I like these stands. They are better than many I have bought and used, and they do seem to hold even my heaviest lights without a problem. I like the twsity knobs for tightening, and their size is just right. But they just don't feel heavy duty. Legs feel very tinny and loose, and while time might prove me wrong, I don't see these stands holding up being hauled around from shoot to shoot. Great for home studio use...but not sure I am going to trust these long term for on-the-go usage. That said...for the price...I have not yet found another stand...let alone a pair of them...that can do what these stands do, at lease in the short term. So if these don't last...I am kinda okay with it. I could easily buy another set...maybe even two...and still spend less than what other stands cost.

Good Value for the money. Huge upgrade over the stands that come with lighting kits.
I purchased these light stands to replaces a pair that came with a soft box lighting kit. These are a HUGE upgrade. The light stands that came with the kit would start to bend when raised over 4 feet. They were flimsy and unsteady and when raised to 6 feet, it was like to trying to support something on top of a fishing pole. These Emart Light stands have a wide based, constructed out of heavy duty aluminum, and are rock solid. Even up to 8 feet! All of this and they come with a carrying bag. Absolutely worth spending the extra money on these to shoot with confidence.

Won't last the long haul.
I'll be keeping these because I need stands immediately and don't have enough time to get others. But, I wish I had just gone with Manfrotto.1. Pictures for these 8.5' stands show nuts and bolts construction... they're not. Rivets are used throughout the leg construction.2. These rattle considerably when moved because of the springs and the loose construction. There's a lot of play in the riveted areas. Seems like the holes are quite larger than the rivets themselves.3. The material used in the construction is unsubstantial. The poles are thin walled although they are larger diameter tubes. The stabilizer bars are thin, flex easily, and will be prone to bending if you load a sand bag on it. It's very lightweight for a reason.4. The coating (anodized, I believe) is not very robust. I received it with multiple scratches throughout.5. There's an odd smell coming from the stands. May be from the lubrication used.If you are a pro, you can afford better... but these would work as backups to your backups. If you are just starting out and can't afford better, these are decent starters. I am very doubtful that these are meant to consistently support up to 60 lbs. These are decent starters, but in no way reliable for weekly use.- update 07/10/23 - 2 out of 3 plastic knobs on each stand has stripped from the bolt. The bolt itself hasn’t stripped on the clamp hardware… the plastic handle now just spins on the screw. No clue where to find replacements.

These are pretty good stands
I wouldn't use theses for traveling and shooting 5 days a week but for weddings, special events, home studios etc. these stands are great. They are stronger, bigger and a little tougher than most stands you get at this price. They are also spring loaded which is really nice. I have four of these. They have replaced all of my other light stands.
