Lock and key vehicles toy
This is a great toy to help teach children fine motor skills and matching numbers to their spellings/ words. The toys are made of sturdy plastic and so far are of a good quality, the padlocks are a little stiff and hard touse to begin but do loosen through use. My 3 year old did need a bit of assistance to begin due to the stiffness. The train starts the line of vehicles and the padlock arm reverses round to lock into each vehicle to form a que of them that the train then pulls along. This was a great bit of fun for my child.Designs are bright and easily associated which was another great positive. The keys are sturdy and easy for small hands to hold and use, they are designed with happy faces and good sized readable numbers. There is a master key for the adult to stash away which I think is a fantastic idea.I bought this for less than £10 and am impressed with it, it's worth the money so great value and would make a great gift. All the parts come individually wrapped in the main box and looks pricier than it is.Excellent teaching toy and I recommend it for all :)

Great fun - but slightly misleading
My grandson, almost 3, loves this toy and always asks for it when he visits. I am puzzled by the pictures on the box and on the Amazon page that show the train all joined up and on a flat surface- with all the wheels on the ground!! This is impossible to do!!!!!

Nice fine motor skills logic toy
I'll be using this toy in early childhood education to build fine motor skills (using the keys to open the train carriage locks) and logic skills (figuring out that numbers on keys correspond to dots on carriages and that a master key opens all the locks) as well as team work and turn taking. It's ideal for the job and very reasonably priced.I don't know about using them as teething toys - they could be somewhat knobbly and hard on little gums - I'd prefer a dedicated teeting toy that I could be assured had the correct, bpa-free, gentle finish for baby's mouth.

Canny but missing a key!
Just been opened today after my son got it for Christmas. Returns window closed.Disappointed to find that we have two “number 2” keys and are missing a “number 1”. Not ideal as a learning toy for toddlers!!Thankfully there’s a master key that opens all BUT I’m really disappointed I can’t return/replace/or even just be sent the missing key??!Annoyingly the master key doesn’t fit on the key ring provided either so I can’t even put a number 1 on in pen and have that on the key ring!

Well made
Present for a small child but will provide entertainment for a long time. The keys are hard to use
