This game is a must have for anyone who has watched how to train your dragon, suitable for young and old alike. This is an adevnture game where you have to take care of a dragon, there are lots of games to play on this to up your levels, you also have to feed and keep your dragon alive, by finding hidden objects..My daughter is totally addicted (shes 12) and she thinks its the best game shes had..

Great game
I bought this game for my 8 year old daughter, who is great fan of the movie. She loves the game. It's been 3 months since she got it and still plays it almost every day. I've just ordered the same game for xbox for my daughter's friend as a birthday gift, she asked for. After playing it few times when she visited us, she said it's her favourite game.

How to Train Your Dragon Wii
My twin boys aged 9 just can't get enough of this Wii game. They like having to search for food for their dragon, learning skills and of course fighting the other dragons! It's a must!

How To Train Your Dragon on Wii
I bought this game because I something to play something that was fun and not too challenging. The graphics are very good (much better than I expected) and there is plenty to do in the game. Aside from training your dragons, you must collect items for recipes, do challenges, complete mini-quests, compete in wild fights and also in tournaments. Not to mention the fact that you must feed and care for your dragons after each training session, fight or challenge. At the start of the game in story mode you have one dragon (Night Fury) and your first challenge is to train up your dragon to a certain level in both melee and fire to compete in the first tournament (the first tournament is really easy but they get harder the further you progress). After winning the first tournament you are allowed to collect a new dragon from the docks near the village, which you will then be able to train up for the next tournament where upon winning you can obtain another dragon. The process continues until you have been named champion of the fourth tournament and you can collect your fourth and final dragon. In training there are seven different combos (melee's) to learn, each of which have four levels of difficulty and for fire there are six different combos, again each of which have four levels of difficulty. Therefore to fully train your dragon you must complete 52 training battles. Then consider the fact that you have to repeat this process three more times (one for each dragon you obtain as you progress). On the plus side this vast amount of training allows to you perfect the combos you've learned. Trainig your dragons is fun but can get a bit repetitive. There are also five challenges (mini games) to play which include Ice Sculpting, Looping Race, Flying Shepherd, Memory Torch and Puzzle Dragon. Each challenge has three levels of difficulty; novice, normal and expert. The challenges are fun and you receive experience pionts to help your dragon level up and are also awarded money and rare items. The only down point about the game in my opinion was the story (or lack of). To put it simply you compete in four tournaments then you enter the fifth one where it says you are going to show off your skills (but really it's just another tournament). Then when you win the final tournament you are congratulated briefly by Hiccup's Father then the credits start to roll. No battling the mother dragon in the middle of a volcano like in the film, which I personally found a bit disappointing. Another bad point is that it only took me 12 hours to complete). But overall this game is good if you want some light entertainment that's not too challenging. I'm glad that I waited for the price to go down before I bought it.

Quite good
I bought this for my 9 year old daughter who loved the film and wanted her own pet dragon after seeing it. I thought this would be the next best thing. She has enjoyed playing it but I don't think it is her favourite game and could have been slightly more exciting. Having said that, she plays on it and I don't regret buying it. She still wants her own pet dragon though.....
