Product never worked like it was supposed to. The light would not seal so water was always in it an that made it not work at nite. Item was replaced.

The media could not be loaded.  Unfortunately, I can only give 3 stars, despite the product itself deserving 5 stars. Purchased the product and it was super easy to install. I read all the reviews and the largest complaint was how poor the "water tight" seal was. This was easily solved using Flex-Seal tape. I mean, seriously, what do people expect for a $50 aftermarket water fountain? My gripe with the product is that if you have more than 2 returns in your pool (most in-ground pools have at least between 3-5) you will need more than the single plug they provide you. In my case, my fountain didn't even come with the plug it was supposed to include. I immediately wrote to Amazon who basically stated "not our problem, contact the manufacturer". I found this to be very unprofessional. I bought it from Amazon, not the manufacturer. I cut some PVC tubing and had to plug one of the ends to try putting into my returns to see if it even worked. Although I strongly do NOT recommend doing this as it may damage your returns, it was a successful, albeit temporary fix. Product worked exactly as described. I contacted the manufacturer and explained what my issue was via email. I explained that I needed at least 3 of the plugs and that I didn't even get one with my purchase. I received no reply, however, 48hrs later I get an email notification from FedEx stating that they are on tract to deliver 3 plugs to me within the next day or 2. Manufacturer didn't reply, BUT they stood behind their product AND immediately shipped me (at no cost) exactly what I asked for. At the end of the day I am happy with the fountain, but it needs to include more plugs and a simple strip of Flex-Seal rubberized tape will fix 99% of the complants you see in the reviews.

Install was really easy and they provided plenty of parts to handle most install situations. Adjusting the height of the fountain is really easy and I am getting about 7 feet of height but can push that to around 10+ if I block off the other jet but it is not necessary.The issue I have is the lights. It is a pain to get them to recognize the remote and I almost have to be right over the fountain to get the lights to turn on. The second issue is the mode that is supposed to rotate the colors does not do so smoothly. The LED's flash like a strobe and switch colors; I would have expected it to gradually fade through the color spectrum. If you want to induce seizures in some of your guests as a party trick, this may be a feature but because of the strobe effect I have to fight with the remote to pick a solid color.The fountain is great...light ring, while it DOES do a decent job of illuminating the fountain, is a pain to use and really only good for solid colors.

We'll start with the fountain. Actual fountain works OK depending on the amount of water pressure you apply. May need to adjust pool valve settings and blocking off certain inlet fittings for the desired fountain height. Clear thin-walled vinyl tubing is terrible and a joke to use. Tubing is subject to kinking easily, which will block fountain performance. Recommend a thicker walled tubing, just be sure it has the proper I.D. (Inside Diameter) to allow the fountain inlet nozzle to enter. May need to be creative for attaching to the pool inlet, depending on the brand and style of the inlet fittings. Hardware that comes with the fountain may not be exactly what is needed for your pool.Now for the light. Was able to use a total of two times within a two week period. The seal between the two halves that house the batteries is a poor excuse for a seal. Left the batteries in the light for two weeks. When the light would not turn on I disassembled and found the seal leaked and the batteries corroded all electronics to the point that cleaning would not correct the problem. When the light worked, it looked very nice. However, with the type of seal used, I would recommend removing the batteries after each use and make sure the electronics are fully dry. Sounds like a pain in the butt, and you are probably right. Wish there were an alternative. This company does not offer a warranty for the product, so I'm out of luck.

EDIT: Do NOT waste your money on the lighted version of this fountain!! 48 hours after setting it up, the light housing is flooded and trashed. Into the garbage the light ring goes! So glad I did not pay full price for this item. The added light look nice at night.It took some tweaking with the water returns (our pool has four), and we shortened the hose a lot to get a spray height we liked. But we got there eventually.We bought this ‘used like new’ from Amazon for 1/3 of the retail price, and it functions perfectly. Not sure I would love the fountain as much if I had oaid full price, though. I don’t think the added light makes it worth $65. Am still going to add submersible lights in the small part of the pool to illuminate it at night (which was why I ordered the lighted version of this fountain).

Love the fountain when it actually works. We bought this product last Summer and the hose blew a hole in it within a month. I bought a replacement hose. After summer I threw the whole thing out because it blew another hole in the hose. This Summer I bought the fountain again. First time using it the hose blew a hole in it. I decided to cut the hose where the hole was and hook it back up. It worked for 7 hours then this morning I turned it on and the hose blew another hole in it. The hose is literally crap. I need a stronger, more durable hose that won’t keep blowing holes on the creases of it. Totally ridiculous!

We don’t like the batteries will not stay in place so the lights don’t work majority the time have to keep taking it apart please put foil in there to try to help the battery stay in place plus use scotch tape down keep seventh place not a very good design on this

Wasted $150 on this product. Tubing continues to twist, accessories are useless. Even with a 2 HP Pentair pump, the fountain height is less than a foot. If you blocked all your pool returns you might raise the height. That would be not the thing to do as circulation in pool water is important. If the product was 29.99, no big deal. At $150 plus tax. This is not worth the money. Amazon should remove this item.Finally, don't buy pool products in the winter. By the time you can check it out, the return window is expired.
