The media could not be loaded.  Great little drill set with lots of screws and shapes to drill onto the board.Has a forward and reverse function so your child really can mimick using mum and dad's drills.Requires 2 x AA batteries to operate which are not included.Seems a little expensive at £30 at time of review.

Positives: plastic is very sturdy and feels good quality. Maybe my two year old is a bit young for this.Negatives: screws can easily not align and be difficult to get back out. Also requires a lot of strength to push the screws down for that reason it might be more suitable for slightly older children.

This is so cute and good quality tool kit for kids. My little one just love to fix the screws with kid’s screwdriver which works with batteries. It has one button on a side which help to chose whether fixing the screw or unfix the screw. It has different shapes parts as well so good to teach shapes as well while kid is busy fixing the screws.

This has kept my daughter amused for hours. She loves the noise it makes and explore different things to screw down. She's only 4 so isn't making anything to complex but is loving the endless imaginative ideas.

The media could not be loaded.  The base board is strong plastic and has coarse screw threads built in ready to accept the supplied bolts.They are easy to insert but may require a little help from a parent to get started for some children.Kids don't seem to do much tool work these days. I have seen this in young adults that don't no one end of a screw driver from another.Keen to teach my young grand child, It is a great skill to teach a young child how to hold and use a driver and in no time they are able to turn clockwise and anti threading the bolts in and out.The supplied shapes will keep them stimulated finding design ideas but there are also some examples included on a printed sheet.There is a screwdriver included to manually install the bolts and a powered drill that requires some additional batteries to drive them in automatically.This being our child's favourite item.The powered drill has a visible window to the side and you can watch the gears rotate.It is a little under powered, particularly if driving the bolts in without engaging the threads firstly by hand.Like a really driver it has like a clutch action that causes it to slip.

I got this toy for my nephew's 4th birthday and he absolutely loves it! The electric toy drill is a big hit and he's already come up with some impressive designs using the shapes in the set

Great quality and build with an excellent durability, this great little battery powered hand drill ( AA batteries not included ) which comes with the main drilling grid and extra 24 different shaped plates and 44 colourful bolts.A great activity for the young ones who love to pretend they are like their mummy or daddy. This one is great for hand and eye coordination, safe and so much fun to be had. Let them create to their hearts content.The hand drill is a perfect size for little hands and it also has the forward and reverse function, lots of learning with this little kit.

This is a nice fun little set for little ones to play with. It’s well made and great for coordination skills. Overall I can recommend if you are after something like it.

This is a nice little gift for a toddler. Easy to use. Allows for hours of fun. Kept my son busy playing with his tools as his daddy worked with his tools. Highly recommend.

My four-old-year granddaughter loves playing with this - screwing and unscrewing the bolts and making patterns and shapes with it. It was nice seeing her learn to control the drill and use the little screwdriver. She spent about an hour with it and still pulls it out once in a while to play with.The only con I have is that the drill could have just a tad more power to it. She got frustrated that the drill would twist a bolt in, but didn't have the power to reverse it out. It was a teachable moment about how to loosen the bolt with the screwdriver and then finish with the drill.But, really, a fun toy for a littler kiddo.

I got these to enjoy with my grandchildren ages 4 and 2. They have loved them! First we were building pictures and patterns just for fun while they visited. The drill is easy for the children to manipulate and the screws drive in smoothly to hold the various shaped plates in place. It was busy for a couple of hours. When they left for the airport I let them take it along, and it was a good thing! They ended up spending hours waiting for their flight and this set kept them busy and calm for much of the time.The kit comes in a nice cardboard box with a carrying handle, but we replaced the badges of screws and plates with some ziplocs so the kids could keep them from spilling easier. One set of batteries has worked for hours so far.The drill is just right for little hands, it has a window to watch the gears turn and a switch that is easy to go from forward to reverse to off. I like that it also has a clutch so they don’t over tighten the screws. There is a small manual driver too so they can share.Lots of fun and creativity!
