Q: Is the filter replaceable? Where can replacements be found?

Whether the filter is replaceable is immaterial. You cant pull out the first one. Its press fit into the metal case. I tried pulling it out via the cord, but it really is going to take extrodinary measures to get it out. It really wont make fresh water from sea water. The filter just is not rated for that much dissolved solids. Its great for fresh water that is relativly clear but likely has virus issues. However as cheap as it is, idk if i would trust it in viral laden waters.
