Super nice set of pickups, installed on my Jackson Dinky. Great warm sound.

I bought an inexpensive old MIJ Les Paul from the 70s last year and hated the stock pickups that came with it. As part of a series of budget upgrades, I bought these pickups. I have to say, I’m pretty pleased with them. It added the right amount of grit and gain I wanted without breaking the bank.I’m not super-crazy about the middle position and the neck sound because it’s a little muddy. But to be honest, I had the same issue with my old pickups, which makes me think it’s probably other factors about the guitar and not the pickups.For the price, you can’t beat these!

I bought this pickup as a direct replacement bridge pickup for a super-strat I own. I am very impressed with the sound quality! It sounds just as good as a $100 DiMarzio super -distortion, which I also bought for another guitar.

Where do I start??? Well I soldered these pickups to an iyv guitar that I had also bought from here, in which it took approximately four hours to assemble. Once I finished, I plugged up the guitar and I noticed that it was more twangy at the neck pickup than I anticipated even after lowering the pickups which turned me off. Outside of that, it’s a good pickup overall.

Replaced the stock bridge pickup in my Washburn Sonomaster (a cheap HSS Strat clone). Much hotter, much more capable than the stock pickup. I've used Wilkinson pickups a lot and they do not disappoint.

Bought these to replace the stock pickups on a Censtar guitar purchased through Amazon. I own another Censtar guitar, the Tele copy with humbuckers. Those pickups sound great, as good as the high-end pickups on other guitars I own, but the stock pickups on this guitar are so-so at best. Unfortunately, the Wilkinson pickups aren't even as good sounding as the stock pickups. They sound kind of like... cheap low end pickups. Thin and without body. Disappointed in these.

Got these to replace the stock pick ups in my old beater epiphone les paul special. The difference is night and day, which is probably because the stock pick ups weren’t all that great with gain.Very easy to fit and set up and very impressed with the sound quality on these. They’re easily as good as a lot of the $100-$200 pick up sets I have on other guitars and good enough for live work. Would definitely buy again.

It isn’t a $100-$200 pickup, I can’t complain. It’s better than what I had in my stock strat!
