Great iced coffee picture!
This is an awesome picture. I make iced coffee on a regular basis and this is the best picture I’ve found. I like that it’s a glass picture so I don’t have ugly stains over time and it washes well in dish washer. I usually wash the lid by hand so I can’t speak to that. I was concerned that the lid handle would be flimsy but it’s not! It’s very sturdy. The metal strainer is awesome! No grounds go through and it washes easily using the brush that comes with it. Over all I’m very impressed and would buy again.

Love it!
My wife wanted me to save some money and make iced coffee instead of buying it. I used a French press and then cooled it in the fridge to start. The caffeine difference was bananas (I must have proportionally used way more grounds). It was actually too caffeinated and bitter (albeit a little less bitter if I only steeped for 30 seconds).Enter this 2 quart bad boy. I fill it with room temperature water and let it steep in the fridge for two days. It comes out, smooth and the amount of caffeine is perfect. Admittedly, I am probably using a little over half the amount of grounds I was using with the French press (but apparently that was too much).Simple and super easy, convenient pitcher, quality, stainless filter, and the iced coffee tastes great! If I was being super picky, I would wish for a slightly sturdier top (I can feel a slight flex in the handle when it is full)…but I don’t feel that it would break.

love this thing
Great for making cold brew coffees and teas so I have something nice cold and refreshing to take to work the next day, depending on how much your mug holds you might get several days worth of drinks out of one brew. I'd invest in a baby bottle brush/soft bottle brush for scrubbing any coffee grounds out of the bottom of the filter because the brush that comes with it is pretty flimsy and i don't think it'd get the grounds jammed in the corners. It seems dishwasher safe, but you'll want to rinse and scrub the filter by hand, probably.

Perfect for cold brew fans
I'm loving my cold coffee brews but I was not loving the mess I was making trying to drain the coffee grounds through cheese cloths. This item solved that and could not make the process so much easier. The pitcher is nice and sturdy and the wire filter is great for keeping all grounds intact so throwing them out is a breeze. With the included brush keeping both filter and pitcher clean is so easy. The only reason I'm giving a 4.5 star versus a 5 is that I was hoping that you could still pour the finished coffee without the grounds coming out. I solved this by purchasing another 64 oz mason jar and use the metal filter in that to brew coffee and then pour it into the pitcher so I always have another one at the ready. Product is awesome and I recommend having an extra large jar to do this. Highly recommend and have shared with my cold brew buddies.

Nice quality cold brew maker!
Very happy with quality overall. Handle and lid are made of nice thick plastic that shouldn't break. The stainless steel filter seems very high quality and doesnt allow grounds into your coffee. Glass is nice and thick. Seal is solid and doesnt leak. Comes with a nifty cleaning brush to make it easier to clean and because its glass doesnt have any funny chemical tastes.Very easy to use just dump your grounds into the filter, pour in your water and throw it in the fridge...a true set it and forget it!One thing I am disappointed with is its not a true 8 cups/half gallon when making any drink that REQUIRES THE FILTER. The filter changes the volume when inside the jug, just like when you fill a cup full of ice and can't fit as much liquid in the cup. It's probably something I should of thought of, but when using the filter its only able to make 6 cups of coffee.

great carafe for brewing a fair amount of home made iced coffee
I really like this cold coffee brewer, the glass is stick enough to make it pretty sturdy...the design is well thought out and the filter holds a lot of grounds...I like that it holds about twice the amount or more than my french press does...you can use it 2 different ways, either with the ground inside the filter then slowly adding the water over the grounds, or adding the grounds directly to the glass carafe and water for stronger coffee, then inserting the filter, and using the spout to pour off filtered cold coffee when it's finished brewing...I wouldn't pick up the carafe by the plastic handle when it's full of liquid, but hopefully that is a no brainer for people as it's pretty heavy when it's full of water...very happy with my purchase

Cold Brew Money Saver
If you like cold brew coffee, this is a money saver. It can cold brew about 3.5 pints of your favorite coffee. It recommends a coarse grind but the filter is double walled so even with the inconsistent grind from my $10 coffee grinder I don’t have bits in my coffee. Keep in mind that a 24 hour cold brew is like concentrated coffee so you’re actually making more than 3.5 pints of iced coffee. It comes with a bottle brush and is easy to clean. The glass container is on the heavy side so if that’s a problem I recommend transferring the coffee to a lighter pitcher.

Excellent cold brew coffee and many other uses
This is a bit thinner and lighter than the one I bought 5 years ago but it works the same. 1/2 cup coffee and water to the line. Put in the refrigerator for about 14-16 hours and you’ll have excellent cold brewed coffee that holds up to ice. There is a little sediment but don’t use the last inch or you can filter. Saves a lot of money. You can make tea, herbal blends and all the cold brewed coffee or anything you can think of brewing and mixing. Iced mocha, salted caramel, green tea, chamomile. Love this thing.
