This set is for cleaning small ports on printers. It's smaller than it seems but all the parts appear in good shape and capable of doing the task.

I wish these came standard eith printers. Id have known about them from the get go. These are top notch and save a lot of un-necessary work. Ill def be buying more of these.

I purchased this tool kit mainly to get the long reach angled tweezers, and overall am quite pleased with the quality of this tool. I have never used it yet to clear out a clogged printer nozzle, but I do use it every time I start a new print job in order to reach under the print head and peel away the first few strands of plastic goo that drip out the nozzle as it warms up. I particularly like the long reach of the angled tip for this purpose because it lets me get into an otherwise hard to access location. The tips of the tweezers are very sharp and perfectly aligned with each other; overall it's a great quality tool.I have not yet had any reason to use the needles (because my nozzle has not clogged) however I did measure them with my high-precision calipers and every single one came out at exactly 0.40mm no matter where I measured so I can say with confidence that the dimensional accuracy is good. Also I was impressed with how flexible the needles are, yet they spring back straight again right away.

I am awaiting the delivery of my Folgertech FT-5 R2 Large Scale 3D printer. This will be my first 3D printer. As I wait I have looked around on Amazon for useful tools that I am going to need.One of the first things I considered was the fact that until I fine-tune my understanding of the process of printing with direct experience I am very likely to clog the extruder a few times. So when I found this item I was thankful.In the package was a transparent durable plastic tube with an aluminum screw-on lid containing the cleaning needles and a pair of metal tweezers. The tweezers have a fine point, the kind you usually use for small-scale electrical jobs. The needles were essentially a low-guage wire that had been transformed into a coil on one end. Though I have not yet used the product it seems straightforward to me that you would feed the straight end of the wire through the extruder and pull carefully with the tweezers to unclog with the spring.Package came on time and I am happy with my order.
