Perfect for ethernet and extra USB ports
Others have mentioned how hot it gets. Yes, it does get warm only when in use, but not dangerously so. It cools off when computer is not being used. Others have also mentioned USB keyboards and mice may not work. I have both connected and they work fine. Also, I've used it to connect several types of Western Digital external hard drives, up to 2 TB. White cable to the computer is good length and flexible (versus rigid). Great product for the price.

Excellent adapter and attractive.
Excellent adapter, takes two more USB hubs or devices, plus a high speed ethernet cord.The color even matches my HP Spectre. Very nice, looks sharp. The cord is very flexible and sturdy.No problems with overheating even with a powered 8 port USB hub connected to it.
