Nice large mat
This is a nice mat. I have a three monitor system, so I really need an extra large mat to fit in with my desk and workflow. With the smaller mats, i just don't have as much freedom to change around how I sit when I am working between the three monitors because they mouse has to stay within range. Not anymore. This mat almost covers everything. I can move my mouse wherever. It is less restrictive and I don't know how I worked before without it. Would recommend. The lights are an added plus, but more distracting when I am working and gets in the way when watching a movie. I don't really use the lighting part.

great desk mat buy!
overall a great purchase! my old one was giving me wrist burns as it was pulling apart, i knew i needed one that was stiched. so far its been a great buy! looks good! my only thing, and this COULD be my mouse, which is why im not gonna ding it too bad, but it gets a little stuttery. but if youre looking for a fairly inexpensive desk mat that looks and feels good, go ahead and get this!

Smooth for mouse, grippy for keyboard
I always used regular, small mouse pads and didn't understand the need for large ones like this that look more like a playmat for a trading card game. I got this pad for my work-from-home setup because I was tired of my keyboard sliding ever so slightly on the smooth desktop, and this takes care of that problem. It keeps the keyboard in place and has plenty of space for the mouse, which glides easily.
