There is an opportunity here for somone to affer a better economical solution.
These worked as about expected and worth a try. Research had indicated that they were really nozzle cleaners that could also work as guitar nut slot files. I think they are better suited to small adjustments of an existing nut slot but not up to cutting a complete slot. I tried to do the latter and they really were not up to the job - not sharp enough, flimsy and difficult to control. Subsequently went on to buy "real" files specifically made for this purpose. These are about £20 each so you can see the attraction of trying to use the nozzle cleaners. Don't know why someone can not offer an alternate cheaper solution.
