Amazon Basics Non Stick Kitchen Cookware 8-Piece Set, Non-Induction, Includes Pots and Pans, Black

I was wondering how pots and pans from Amazon basics would work. The answer is pretty great. I've made soups, meals, etc. and they work excellently. Are they top tier? No, but I don't think you expect them to be. I get even heating across the pans though and they could fine. Color is standard black. They are light, very functional pans. Made to do a job. Easy to clean, easy to stack. Great buy if you just need to cook your daily meals.

These inexpensive pans work well. They are on the thin side, but a careful cook can get a lot of use from them without warping them. Handles tend loosen, but they can be tightened. Steep transition to the edge, rather than a gradual transition, but it's not a problem. Hard to beat at this price point.

The media could not be loaded. Don’t buy this set if you expect to fry something in the frying pan. I want to just bag all of this up in a hefty trash bag and return it.Despite what the pictures show you with two items without a lid, the lids provided fit everything the small pot lid fits the small frying pan and the large pot lid does…. NOT…. Fit the large frying pan.I have a question, did some man come up with the idea for this pot and pan set and a skillet that doesn’t have a lid? What’s a mother to do?My kids don’t like boiled chicken or boiled fish or boiled potatoes.Without washing them yet, they look like a good set of pots and pans, but who knows maybe I’ll put them in the dishwasher and all the coding will come off.I’m not holding my breath.Oh Mr. Rufus IA, are you gonna send me a lid for my frying pan?Yours truly, Mr. Ed

Non-stick coating in the pans are flaking off. All I've ever used to clean is either a Dobie pad or sponge. Haven't even had the cookware for a year yet. Sheesh!
