Freewell Standard Day 4Pack ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64 Filters for Avata 2: Enhance Your Aerial Photography

The media could not be loaded. The filters fit right into the Avata 2 and have not been knocked off even after multiple crashes thanks to it snapping right in . The glass is quality and clean but it is hard not to get fingerprints on the filters when removing them. Make sure to buy some lens wipes or a cleaning cloth. I bought an 100 pack of glasses wipes on Amazon for 10 bucks that does the job.

ND filters work fine with EIS and 180-degree shutter speed rule which motion blur is created. However if gyroflow is used for post stabilization, ND filters is useless. Motion blur will create artifact error in gyroflow stabilization processing. Final word is if you use EIS with motion blur, ND filter is a must item. If gyroflow is your friend, ND filter is worthless buy.

Easy to snap on and off. Four pack is enough options for most conditions. I place A filter I think will work and then look through goggles to see if exposure looks good. I use Danny Mcgee's recommended Avata 2 video settings.

They do a good job at controlling light but they are brittle. Dropped one during tricky removal about 24” onto packed sand and it cracked 🤷‍♂️

Freewell filters have a very, very good reputation for lens quality, and this set appears to offer the same great quality.The big problem I have with this set is the lens ID markings. They are ~almost~ useless! The only ID marks are on one end of the housing, so you need to handle each lens just to see which rating it is..... which increases the chance of fingerprints. And even the printing on the housing isn't very bright, so you need to look very carefully to read it. C'mon Freewell - I thought you were better than this.
